Hey everyone!

We started up a new site called SADC (South Asian Dance Central) where you can find (what we hope) is most of your dance related information!

We have a list of teams, competitions for the year, a classifieds section run by you for you, editorials covering a range of topics, and even a page where DJs can post their information and what kind of mixes they make.

So come check us out at http://sadancecentral.com/index

And Like us on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/SouthAsianDanceCentral

We are open to suggestions, and if any information is incorrect or incomplete on the site, please Contact Us through the site and let us know. Always looking forward to hear from other dancers, DJs, and enthusiasts.

We are also looking for people to help write editorials during the year (pretty short pieces) and help with website design/management/development. If you would like to be part of the SADC team (don't worry, we won't ask you to sign your life away), Contact Us and let us know!

I know BTF already has the CTL and would like to add that SADC covers the entire circuit, but would love more Bhangra representation on the site. I know we missed alot of teams and competitions, so please Contact Us and let us know what we are missing! Please include team names, location, and contact info and for competitions, name, location, and website.

Thanks!

South Asian Dance Central

P.S. Dance competitions, we would love to have high res images of your logos to put them on the site.

haha, everyone keeps telling me that, but no, not a competitor. DDT offers a great platform for expressing dancers views and opinion, but a lot of the information is user based and not always up to date.

I know that when I created a new team (in my case, fusion team), i struggled a lot because I didn't know how big the dance world was and what competitions were out there, what new teams should do, etc.

I just wanted to make a centralized location for all south asian dance information :)

Thanks for the luck, will definitely need it!

Sounds like a great idea if you can really keep it UPDATED - which will be the key to your success/failure. The CTL should get you on the right track to start with.

Thanks for your followup!

The key is updating. DDT is utterly useless at this stage in my opinion because there is not only a lack of reviewers, but a lack of content as well. The moderators don't moderate anything and let spam bots run rampant.

Good luck!

Will do! And thanks!

I will try to keep it as updated as I can, but I do rely on competitions and teams to help out as well lol. I can only update what I know :)

But I do plan on staying current with the dance world, so I should be able to stay on track.
