Shitty quality as I had to do it at work to meet my deadline of Tuesday (you'll hear the vacuuming at some point lol). But the outline of what I'm covering and the approach we'll take is there. Next week I'll post two videos, one dealing with properties of sound we need to know (amplitude, frequency, timbre) and one dealing with properties of beats and music. This will give us shared terminology for the rest of the videos which will deal with actual mixing operations.
Anyways, it's been a long time coming and the videos will surely get better as we go along. That's a big reason I'm going week to week instead of dropping them all at once, so I can improve the style by the time we get to the really hard concepts.
Rough plan:
ep2 Properties of sound (amplitude, frequency, timbre, etc).
ep3 Beats and music concepts
ep4 Properties of clips, volume, length, pitch, bpm, etc
ep5 Audio editing of clips. Adjusting volume, pitch, bpm, etc. What time stretching is blah blah
ep6 Beatmapping and Beatmatching
ep7 Transitions
ep8 Whatever is left over to teach
