loved the NJ/SGPD collabo -- gurkanwal & sukhpreet you guys murdered it!! well done TAG, shame you guys didn't place because of all the gimmick-y-ness of the rest of the performances

i wonder why there's all this complaining when TAG/SGPD does hip hop moves, but in a different thread people are praising ABC for it.

amazing performance, especially considering 4 dancers from a different team. hope nachdi and sgpd collaborate more often

Its the style, and how its effecting the overall set. I wasnt really paying close attention to either video, but its that TAG/SGPD adds that little hop to a lot of their movements and segments. Basically they are transforming the bhangra style to a more hip/hop-bhangra mix, if that makes any sense.

wow, gtv vid really gives a better look at this set. for as complex as the choreo was, it was incredibly coordinated, tdot never fails to impress. this set = bhangra swag. haha and i thought the avengers gimmick was a fun way to end it.

Good stuff, TAG Coed! Your dancers, especially the girls and the blue jodi were definitely on point and the dancing was pretty sick. However, I can see why this didn't place. For one, it's a West Coast Modern Competition. And two, while the set was creative, the whole picture was not considered when creating the set. There were plenty of ideas that could have been significantly better sold. You gave up some great concepts just they weren't marketed as well as they could have been. You truly lost out having a set of crazy high energy and creative steps every 2 seconds because you need segments of lower energy/more grace and less creativity to highlight the contrast. This set lacked that balance.

whoa whoa whoaaa, lol where did that come from?? I loved the set; so much energy and you guys were entertaining as hell!! Deff my fav performance of the night. The fall in the beginning really hurt you guys though =[. If it wasn't for that mishap then I am sure you guys could have taken first.

You guys killed it! The energy was consistent throughout the set, so was the cleanliness. This should've placed in my opinion.

The last two sentences were basically what I said, but a lot better worded. Contrast makes things interesting, and highlights the creativity in the set.

Just out of curiosity, after you guys decided to go co-ed, why didn't you go by House of Bhangra or a new/unique more coed name than Toronto Allstar Girls Coed?
the reality of this whole coed situtation:. we didnt have enough girls to compete and i didnt want to wait until school starts to go to a competition. this set was made like any other TAG set, the guys came and helped out to fill in for the missing girls. we didnt do coed to try something new or to prove a point. shoutout to tamandeep, paras, bhogal, bobby, shots for comming through and helping out
