TAG Coed @ Bruin Bhangra 2012 Video

It was a very entertaining set and the mix was awesome (it's playing on my comp right now), but the couple of falls and the high, high level of competition at Bruin this year meant that this set was always going to be an outside shot at placing.

The good: Awesome energy, tons of swag as per usual. Crowd was really behind you going out on the stage because we were prepared for that and you didn't disappoint. TAG is always so fun to watch because they can come out and really capture the masculine and feminine in one act and this was no exception.
The not so good: the unlucky fall in saaps and the later sitdown or two during the baithkes. It happens, and although the judges noticed, you recovered well. Also, the Avengers gimmick at the end was kind of oddball, to be honest, and it kinda felt tacked on.

I also agree with Kinnell and Joe that there needed to be a break in the energy. The performance was so fast that it really hard to separate the segments when I remember it. I know I'm beating a dead horse at this point, but doing jhoomer well really highlights how well you guys move in the faster segments.

Still one of my favorite sets of the night, but I think a bit more variation in speed wouldn't hurt. I actually liked the new style, too. Haters gonna hate, keep doing you.

i think the sgpd/tag style is evolving, and is definitely moving away from the status quo. whether other teams will embrace it as they have with sgpd's style in the past remains to be seen. either this style will sink sgpd or it will just become the new normal, as their style did in 2009...let's see...

you bring up an interesting point, and I think some teams will definitely try to embrace this style. I must say though, their footwork throughout their sapp/khunde segments is mad challenging. Im really looking forward to next season.

Sorry bro, but your double negative would appear to mean you liked all the comments read on this thread.

Haha the only reason you say that is because it's basically an all-guys set, except with half girls.
