This is actually a really big FL coed team thing. Every FL team has this pretty much. Ill post up a pic of guardians vardiyaan aswell. Compared to ALL of these ours are really really REALLY simple. And maybe its an old style and cause we don't dance in jodi's, but all our outfits are identical as well.Dhesi said:I commented before on how I didn't like the dullness of SIAC's kurta but then everyone said they looked sick up close. Now that I've seen more pictures, I do agree, they look pretty crazy. But I still think I prefer NYPD's. They have similar styles/patterns but NYPD's colour just works better in my opinion. I don't think gray kurta do anything, other than make it look dull. Even white is better. I begged my team not to use grey kurta ever again; we'll see what happens.
Also, I don't know about the rest of you, but from an audience perspective, I don't like it when teams do inverted for the jodis. I think it makes it too hard on the eyes to understand who's with who and why everyone is slightly different but slightly the same. It's not too bad when you have like 1 guy jodi'd with 1 guy and they're inverted but for co-ed teams (Gator comes to mind of the top of my head) that do all the guys one way and then girls the same colour but slightly inverted, I think that's the biggest eyesore. Nothing against Gator Bhangra, but that's just one that I remember.
Dhesi - do you mean both the guys and girls are inverted, like how VCU used to do? i thought for their color scheme it looked pretty good and i didn't think they should have changed - i really haven't seen any other CoEd team do alternate colors, though...Saleem said:+1Dhesi said:I don't like it when teams do inverted for the jodis.
