Man I wanna watch this but can't .... does it have anything to do with this article
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/36182383/ns/world_news-mideastn_africa

It was one of today's mainstream articles

Man if you guys think US troops are bad, the paramilitary organizations our country sponsors are much worse. Our defense department's School Of The Americas is LITERALLY a terrorist training organization, aids our interests everytime we stage a coup in Latin America
And even the private contractors that are hired are ruthless, a while ago Erik Prince was taken to court for Blackwater blowing up a random traffic circle, for NO reason. Even MAINSTREAM corporate media showed how he just sat there and justified everything, while news anchors said 'we actually have intelligence that tells us your actions were completely unprovoked'
Erik Prince basically said, listen there's an investigation n it's gonna go in our favor FBI is in our pocket byaaatchhhh
n that's exactly what happened
THEN this is the interesting part, a really really sad segment on DemocracyNow aired, very hard to watch without crying, the father of an innocent boy who was shot and murdered in his car came on a segment and explained the story and how Blackwater personell acted, all he asked for was an apology from Erik Prince.... he never got one from anybody, only offers for large settlements of money
if anyone's interested I'll post it up

definitely...hatred just instigates more hatred

this video is disgusting...it represents the US army in such poor light and makes you question of the nature and intention of americans who proudly fight in the army...the guys in the video seem to treat such a sensitive situation and the lives and innocent civilians as a joke and its really sad...i don't think at all that everyone in the us military thinks the same way that they do, but it makes you wonder...

We need to go Vietnam War status with this pathetic excuse for military occupation called the War in Iraq. The same way pictures like this

forever changed how Americans saw the war and helped propel the movement to end it, we need the brutal truth thrown in our faces and on the frontpages.

If every American saw that video, how many would still be in support of the war? And how long would it take for a Tea Party style movement to occur to demand the immediate end to this war that just seems to be getting longer and longer (and further and further from its intial goals) by every day

that video, released by wikileaks, has been suppressed by the American media all week. No one will really see it, and it will disappear like the rest of the Iraqi expose videos.

You can say you do not support the United States government and their intentions, motives or actions. I would agree with you on that.

But to say you don't support the troops? You have no heart. Are you telling me you don't care whether young men and women who are soldiers live or die? You don't care if they signed up young (maybe before 9/11 and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan happened), did so based on blatant LIES told by the President and Vice President, or maybe are from poor conditions at home and see the military as a way to pay for education and do something positive with their lives?

Or how about a friend of mine who served in the armed forces and built schools in Djibouti for little children, helped bring the local people clean water by digging wells, gave the locals aid in ANYTHING they needed to make their quality of life better? How about the other thousands of troops who did/are doing the same in East Africa? How about the 10,000 US troops who helped and are still helping in Haiti while most of us do nothing besides donate some money? F them huh?

You don't like the armed forces organization? I don't either. You don't like why they go to various countries? Neither do I. You don't like the sexism, racism and homophobia within the armed forces? Can't argue with you there. But from what I have seen most soldiers sign up with pure intentions and good hearts and are asked to do things they do not. This video is disgusting...you can say F these guys and I hope they face the harshest penalty under the law...but to extrapolate that onto ALL troops, simply misguided and ignorant.

Hey man I agree with you, so this isn't against you but in support of the notion that individual troops aren't bad until they are ordered to be, but the reasons they are called upon for are.

"YOU TELL ME, WHAT THE NOBLE CAUSE IS THAT MY SON DIED FOR
AND IF HE EVEN STARTS TO SAY, FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY,
I'M GONNA SAY BULLSHIT !
You TELL ME THE TRUTH. You tell me that my son died for oil, you tell me that my son died to make your frinds rich"

The People Speak

EVERYBODY should watch a beautiful documentary called THE PEOPLE SPEAK
There's a tour being done right now around radical college campuses, displaying The People Speak, talks about the moms of soldiers who REALIZE why their children lose their lives, along with many many other voices which have been suppressed.
For all you Cali kids, this is being shown ALLL over UC campuses, GO SEE IT :D

The reason that Apache shot at civilians was because soldiers thought they had RPGs and AK47s. They were obviously wrong and the loss of life is dreadful. I don't understand how that leads people to say things like "fuck the troops". After watching the video, the conclusion I draw is that wars are horrible and it causes individuals to make mistakes. Most of the Coalition casualties in Iraq are from friendly fire. These are all mistakes that are bound to happen when you have an overstretched army and soldiers are doing multiple tours within a short time span. I think General Mccrystal said something to this regard a few days ago.

I disagree with this war (or any war for that matter) but to portray soldiers as ruthless killers without understanding the circumstances they face isn't fair. Like Harman said, its okay to disagree with U.S. policies on various issues including how military handles things; but to not support troops...it just doesn't make sense to me.

I just think that the way in which the men in this particular video carried themselves and the way they treated the situation was really degrading and distasteful...it's understandable to make a mistake..it happens...but don't laugh while you're killing people...my dad's an engineer for the Department of Defense and he meets soldiers all the time who tell him that they hate having to kill people, but they do it because they want to serve their country...i think the matter of respecting our troops lies in their intentions
