I dunno what the US is still doing there. This is getting ridiculous.

I feel as though they're trying new ideas now. Nothing they're doing is really working, so...hey, let's put them in a box and see what happens!

USA's foreign policy is retarded and needs to be severely changed.
The Bush administration has made a mockery out of the constitution and has ruined our reputation overseas and at home.

I am surprised the USA would apply a prison of this type....they would never do that in America or get away with it.

and i like ur idea jasmeet it seems like they need a dose of their own medicine to realize how other people are impacted by their policies ....but instead can we load them onto a slave ship and bomb it b/c seriously all i thought bout when i saw this was the slave ships....and as ranjit said it is a "mockery out of the constitution"

This was a comment under the article by a Dr. Robert Hamilton. I dunno if he's a reliable source of information or not, but this is what he had to say:

This is not something the Bush administration just came up with. I'm not defending them, but this is the standard-type detainee accomodations that the military has used since WWII, and I find it intriguing how so many people paid such little attention to the whole detention/POW thing until now. In reality, some US prision confinement cells are not much larger than this. The prisioners are not supposed to be confortable. I don't agree with torture, but If the prisioners were comfortable, then they would be less likely to provide information, which is one of the main reasons for detaining a suspect. BTW, the POW training that our Special Forces Soldiers go through here in the U.S. (SERE training) is far worse than this. How pathetic and small-minded it is to look at a photo of a detention cell in Iraq, and immediately connect it to one's odium of the Bush administration.

No matter how EVIL the person, this is simply wrong. Just how we feel that these "terrorist" or "extremists" have no right to kill innocent civilians. The American government has absolutely no right to do this either.
