Tips to Starting a New Team

Me and my friends who already have some bhangra experience want to start a new all-girls bhangra team. This is our first time starting an official competing team and some advice would be helpful! We would like some information on how to organize a well-run team including:

-Where to buy instruments including saaps
-What program to use for creating a good mix
-Where to go about for ordering outfits
-How to get more committed team members

Creating routines and formations shouldn't be a problem but getting a committed and dedicated team together with the love for bhangra is the goal! I know this is kind of a broad topic but any help would be appreciated. :D

First all, welcome to BTF MyHenna and I'm happy to hear that you're on the journey to start a new all girls bhanga team. We can definitely use a lot more!

Pretty much everything you've mentioned in your post has been discussed here, not just once, but numerous times. No offense, have you tried searching on the forum? There is a wealth of knowledge on BTF, especially for newer teams.

It's gonna require a bit of effort on your part to find the answers, but as a captain/leader on your new team, you better get used to that. After you've spent a good amount of time searching BTF & the web, if you still have any questions, I'm sure many will be more than willing to help.

Again, please don't take my post the wrong way, it just seems by your first post that you haven't really researched these questions and just want to be spoon fed everything.

~ Basim :)
