I didn't know a coach could do that. If I understand you correctly, that means if a player has a season ending injury, the coach COULD put him as doubtful instead of moving him to the IR?

of course. thats why tom brady spent all of last season on the probable list. he didnt have any real injuries till that foot injury.

but i think theres a low possibility now of it being a stunt because its been announced that he needs surgery. soo....good luck matt cassel...

We sucked, bad. It hurts not having your top 4 wide-outs. Branch, Engram, Burleson, Obamanu are all out! . No excuses tho, hopefully next week is redemption time, when the niners pay visit to our house. And we know all know the noise of the 12th man can be deafening.
