Whats gooood BTF,
This past weekend, alumni and current members of Joshiley Jawan, Tune Squad, UVA Di Shaan, RU Bhangra, UMD Terrapind, VCU Bhangra, CMU Bhangra, and VT Bhangra came together to put on a halftime show designed to take advantage of an arena-style stage and showcase our dance and art form to a diverse crowd and global audience. For the past four months, we've been working on one simple goal: To bring a new vision of dance, music and entertainment to the world -- starting with Bhangra.
Today, it is our pleasure to share with you our first step in that process. We'd like to give a huge thank you to the Washington Wizards, the Official Wizard Girls, and the NBA for giving us the opportunity to perform at the halftime show. Big shouts out to Virginia School of Bhangra and Sher E Panjab Bhangra Club - SEPBC for helping us out with vardiyaan, we can't thank you enough. Shout out to my man Pritpal for always coming through with the nice paggan.
Last but not least, we have to give our sincerest gratitude to the baddest DJ on the face of the planet Klasikhz for putting together the most EPIC bhangra mix the world has ever heard. The professionalism, skill and passion that he put into the production are unparalleled!
