Sup BTF,
So I've tried to read through all the Sony ACID threads and gain as much knowledge as possible without having to post thread after thread on how to do stuff. I've only been messing around for less than an hour, and its kinda frustrating putting the ideas I have into my head into what actually comes out on the mix. Here's my first attempt so tread lightly y'all.

Special thanks to Swi, Jason, 2Nyce, and many others who have helped the community learn how to mix.

For your First time messing around, It sounds uber clean and on beat. I think that's where people get off when they start. They try to do too much at once and forget about the fundamentals. keep doin your thing.

good looks on the shoutout ;)

haha but this is dope esp if its ur first time. acid is a very promising program if you know how to use it. most people can beatmap and put two songs together and call it a mix but it takes time, effort, skill, and the desire to be better in order to make somethin thats ridiculous.

as far as this mix, its tight i could definitely jam to this. only thing it needs is minor pitch adjustment (try using the "pitch shift" effect in the list of effects, if u take ur time and learn it, it can do wonders) and proper EQing (i was never taught that but i guess naturally i can tell when the bass is TOO loud or the highs are too low, or vice versa...some people fail to notice that and have their bass peaking for no reason)

but ur levels seem pretty fine and its definitely usable, but it could be EQed better. anyway, over all this is tight. keep up the good work and if u got any questions hit me wit a PM n we'll figure shit out.

southern swag funk...its a new genre baby :). thanks for the feedback guys. I'm definitely gonna keep messing around, and the tutorials on youtube have most definitely helped. It also seems like everyone is mixing nowadays on BTF so the questions asked serve as great FAQs.

Must respect to you 2Nyce...I jam hard to Unprecedented at the gym...Marhak Like a G6 is an instant classic bro.

Also, while I'm giving shoutouts...whoever made the AEG Elite 8 mix...you are a God...my benchpress skills thank you greatly. Only someone with true swag would drop some 8-Ball/MJG into a mix. Much Love.
