Finally a team mix that doesnt sound over loaded with "hype" crap.

There were some issue with some segments, but overall glad to hear something not following the crap norm.
I'll PM you critiques.

Very good mix. I'm really enjoying bumping this in the car. I looked for some time and couldn't find a vid for this mix so idk how well it went with the set but I'll leave my thoughts on the mix itself. The biggest thing that I was unsure about in this mix was the flow. A lot of the transitions were abrupt (I'm assuming that's because of the requests from the team rather than your choice) which caused the mix to be jumping around quite a bit. To me it sounds like a bunch of segments pieced together rather forcibly. The transitions were perfect in the first minute and a half, I thoroughly enjoyed that segment/intro. As for individual segments, pretty much everything worked out ok, but I felt that you could have done sooo much more with them and you held back. Again I don't know how much was cause of the restrictions from the team, so just ignore the pointers that were out of your control.

Some places I noticed:

-The bassline that you put in at the segment beginning at 1:40 hit very very well, but couldve been a little more crisp imo. Try to eq it a bit better and bring out the punch, and watch the volume of each sustained kick.

-At 2:32 the instrumental in the back didn't hit for me as the pitch interfered with the flute in the Punjabi song

-For Jhoomar: Dope mix, I loved the blend you had there. I felt like the instrumental could've been varied just a bit as it sounded pretty constant throughout and there wasnt much of a drop.

-Superchor is another favorite segment for me...That was sick. This was one of the instances where I felt that you held back though, as the drop could've been much more hard-hitting with a more full instrumental.

-Also thought the patt lainge could've hit much harder, and could be fixed with just a more full instrumental.

Again, really enjoyed this mix, like mithu said its a pleasant deviation from the hat/kick/snare/noise vomit trend rn. Definitely looking forward to what you have to make in the future :)

Thanks Guys! Appreciate the kind words. I agree with you both about some of the segments not being mixed to their full potential. I was mainly just focused on keeping it clean and not having too much going on. Next time i'll be sure to put more time into each segment to keep the listeners engaged!

Yeah i was happy the way jhoomer turned out, but i could have done more with the drop, I felt like if i added any effects or even a dhol, it woulda took away from the vibe. I felt the same way about superchor! It was definitely fun to mix! (Drake song request) I also did want to continue with the chorus and keep it going, maybe even into a slow chaal segment.

Thanks for taking the time to critique Teg! Appreciate it bro! :)
