HALTEN SIE!

we're lucky to get a red? Rafael retaliated after gettin clowned by Badstuber on sheer strength and stuck out his legs to knock Badstuber down. THAT is a red. do you even know what red card's are for? its for unsportmanslike conduct away from the play. that means that if you aren't playing the ball, and you foul someone that has rights to make a play on the ball, thats obstruction. Manchester United are lucky he wasnt sent off the first time cuz on a different day and different ref he would be gone. When you play with a yellow card you should know better. Look at Mark Van Bommel. He plays tough and fouls alot and takes fouls all day but he gets right up. He takes his yellows all the time, and when he does, he doesnt play stupid afterwards. Rafael can learn from that, but hes young and emotional and immature so whatever it'll take time

And for the United fans reading this that dont think its happened before that someone has been showed straight red for the same foul, recall the famous Beckham red card in the worldcup if u can (youtube if you have to). It happens all the time, and its a straight Red. Young idiots retaliate and they pay for it. Prob only reason he didnt call it was cause the incident was so far back in Bayern's half but that doesn't make it allright. His tug on Ribery? Are you serious? Did you not see him holding Ribery's arm cuz he clearly can't defend him so he's trying to cheat? Or are you conveniently not remembering lol "you guys were lucky" GTFO learn football.

Man United fans are such clowns. Ribery got his ass kicked all game and they didn't call one obstruction foul against him until then.

That being said, Nani = dirty human being hah. I knew he was gona score today, I didnt think Rooney would start but i was more concerned with Nani and he proved why.

bayern/united trivia:: how many times in history has Bayern lost to Man United? ;)

cookie for whoever gets it

and to Sir Fergie's comments after the game, wow wat a sore loser. grow up. your manchester united, ur not god. good luck winning premier league, chelseas time has come.

Ref: fuckin clown. but im surprised/sorta happy to see an ITALIAN ref who allowed such a tough physical game, german style.

ARJEN. ROBBEN! DANKE. VIELEN!

Lyon. Wir kommen.

My dear friend, when I said you guy were lucky that we got a red, I meant it in the sense that if we had not got a red card Bayern probably wouldn't have gained the momentum to pressure us and score...the red card changed the momentum of the game as we were clearly dominating in the first half. I did not say that Rafael's offenses were not yellow card fouls. And if you must know, I do know what red cards are for. Please do not question my knowledge on the sport as you don't even know me. Thanks.
Anyway, I agree Rafael's first offense was a yellow card although his second offense was nothing more than a foul. Yes he pulled his arm, but there really wasn't that much in it. It happens all the time in this sport with no cards given. However, he is young and should have known better than to give away stupid fouls. He'll learn.

In all fairness, Rafael got fouled first, didn't receive the free kick and retaliated which deserved a yellow card yes we've established that. Now his second foul, as I explained was nothing more than a free kick. As for Rafael not being able to defend..LOL...did u not see the whole of the first half when he OWNED RIBERY...lol due to your ignorance you'll probably disagree with me, but Ribery was not a threat in the first half at all due to Rafael. He was having an amazing game. ANYWAY I accept the fact that on some days his second offense may have been given a yellow card, and today was one of those days. However, I would also like to note Ribery's immediate reaction during the 2nd offense. He left the ball, deliberately raised his arm and began to push Rafael violently. If you'd like..."unsportmanslike conduct away from the play. that means that if you aren't playing the ball, and you foul someone that has rights to make a play on the ball, thats obstruction"....I feel Ribery's "retaliation" should have also been worth a card...and so should you as you described to me what a red card was. Furthermore, there were several players that were asking for Rafael to receive a card which is not within the rules of the game. Personally I feel that the referee's decision was influenced by these players.
Again, please do not attack me personally and tell me to "learn" a sport as you do not know me.

Temurzai said:

Indeed we are clowns. Also it was a rough game, Ribery did not get his "ass" kicked, he just wasn't used to not having any space to control and run with the ball in the first half. The tackles were clean and any qualified referee could tell you that. Anyone that watches the premiership could tell you that. However what wasn't clean were the deliberate kick outs on Rooney ankle. Yes we all expected his ankle to be targeted (unsportmanslike but good tactics I suppose, I probably would have done the same), but what I don't understand is how none of your players even received warnings for doing this.

Furthermore I don't see how Nani is a dirty human being...i've never really seen anything dirty about him apart from the fact he goes down easily sometimes...

ur trivia question...you guys actually lost the game today too...but got through on aggregate...and yes we did beat you in 1999 =)

HAHA as for your comments on sir alex ferguson needing to grow up and us being "manchester united...we're not good"....please please please you grow the fuck up a bit...
seriously? I think ferguson knows what he's talking about. Unlike other managers who love to talk their way out of bad performances, ferguson is probably one of the most honest managers around. Possibly one of the greatest and most successful managers ever...and he has the record to prove it...you should be more respectful.

and manchester united not being good?...since when =O...last time i checked we had won the EPL the last three years in a row...and champ league finalists two years in a row...seriously grow up.

again, robbens goal was sickkkkkk...
good luck against lyon but barca taking it

you just made up a lot of stuff. i suggest reading espnsoccernet a little bit before making a fool of yourself. it's not even the best source for soccer news but maybe you can realize how retarded some of the things you just said were. also, i'm not sure which game you were watching, but Ribery was hassled all game long and fouls WERE called, just no CARDS were given on his fouls ... that doesn't mean he was being owned on defense, he was fouled a shit load of times and it was called. i really want to reply to a lot of your comments, but i realized it would probably be a waste of my time considering i agree with almost everything TZ said and you still managed to respond like a typical soccer newbie that can't see past the cloudy manchester united spectrum. also by him saying nani is dirty, he means hes DIRTY AS IN AMAZING ... you took a complement and even turned that around lol. yeah def not worth the soccer debate sorry. YOU WIN BRO.

WOW its a good thing you watched the game huh bro? Real good. Real nice.

The comments im referring to are when Fergie said '..begging for the card, typical germans...' - source: ESPN Soccernet. i duno wat comment ur referring to. but thanks.

^that right there (almost verbatim) is the biggest bullshit i ever heard. too bad Bundesliga is the only tough league left, premiership used to be up to par with bundesliga toughness but its starting to dip, the game has changed in premier league with all the latin influence n foreign players from latin countries. wat am i insinuating? latin players dive. italians, brazilians, portugues, spanish, argentinian, etc. the game in these countries is diff. England with such a heavy latin population is seeing its game change and referees calling alot of fouls they didnt used to call 15-20 years ago. and if you followed soccer for a long time and know the the changes in league play and fouls n etc all that jazz, you would obviously agree.

^ point of all of that? Fergie's comments are erroneous on all accounts. Your the united fan, u shud know exactly how Fergie is with shit talking and backstabbing. But your prob not a real proper ManUtd fan so there prob isnt much that you do know about your club. Sure hes classy most of the time, but when hes not, hes REALLY not. NO REASON for the out of place comment against 'the Germans'.

Rafael v Ribery

I don't know wat game u watched, but Ribery WAS getting absolutely murked. RAFAEL OWNED RIBERY?!? Are you KIDDING ME. Find me one report on the match that proves that. oh thats right, you can't, cuz it didnt happen. Do you even watch Ribery play? This is probably the first time you've seen him huh? Against Man United this round? He is one of the toughest players in the world, and anyone can attest to that. I hate most French players cuz their style of play is too lazy for me, but Ribery is a true icon in the soccer world for his amazing ability to play injured and ignore fouls. you know where he learned to do that? Germany. Where nothing gets called. Not like the premiership where you can dive any day of the week and get a penalty. A real footballers league doesn't play that shit. Danke.

Ribery 1v1 on Rafael :::: Ribery was gettin thru on the flank and gettin his crosses in, and gettin shots into the box...or did that magically escape your memory...

Ribery 1v2 Rafael/Fletcher :::: Ribery wasnt gettin into the box (supposedly gettin owned by rafael says you) because they had him DOUBLE COVERED AGAINST THE SIDELINES. How many times did we see Ribery trapped with 2 opponents cornering him? Almost every god damn play. But you are conveniently forgetting this too. you would remember this, IF you had watched the game. But you didn't watch the game, and now we all know that. He was constantly double covered by the holding midfielder and rightback. Robben recieved the same treatment once he started to threaten, but Evra was havin a ball jsut clippin Robben illegally as soon as he touched the ball. So doubling on an injured player wasnt needed til he turned on the jets later in the game. Guess what? Robben still got thru, after gettin fouled and fouled by Evra. You don't remember that either do you? Remember that challenge by Evra where he decleated Robben? And the commentators were furious for no card either? Oh yea you dont recall that either. Cuz you didn't watch the game.

So lets go back to dicuss when Rafael got a 1v1 with Ribery...what happened? Ribery was gettin thru! and the one time Rafael managed to halfassedly 'defend' him? OHHHHHHHH!! HE TUGGED HIS ARM AND GOT CARDED! thats rightttt!!! thats ur Rafael 'owning' Ribery?

Rafael owned Ribery? GTFO hahah Go download the game replay and watch it. and then come back on here and talk to me before you embarrass urself any further. as far as this thread is goin already, i would love to see someone backup ur views. you dont even make any sense. you know why you dont make any sense? cuz u didnt watch the game. theres no way you watched this game. If you DID watch, then please stay out of this thread until you watch it again and watch it and check it with everything I just said in this post. Stop failing to defend Man United's honor. I know plenty of proper Man United fans that actually watch and understand the play of the game that wouldn't embarrass Man U like you are in this thread.

please find me one person to refute wat I said bout Ribery v Rafael. And please, for your own good, watch the damn game before running your mouth again with fake facts. You actually have to pay attention to soccer and you would know that if you actually understood soccer, but you don't, so stick to baseball or watever.

And if youre gona get mad at me, which you already are, stop embarrassing yourself, maybe I wouldn't have to break the game down for you if you had watched it.

LOL and Nani being 'dirty' means hes really good. cmon nowwww

LOL 'Rafael owned Ribery'.

^Find me some press that says so. I dont care if its manchester based press, munich based press, fijian, punjabi, anywhere. Find me a reporting that backs anything that you said on "Rafael owning Ribery". Please, and thanks for comin out!

Danke.

your just an idiot. you acutally have the time to argue all that on a BHANGRA forum LOL . Manchester United is expected to win everytime they are even close to a final, theres a reason for that. Its the manager SAF who's built a solid club from top to bottom. I love man u, but at this point in time barcelona is the best team in the tournment hands down probably right now in soccer. Bayern will have a short lived moment of glory, so stop wasting your time critizing every aspect of the game against your team and just enjoy the Champions League and be a true soccer fan.

LOL please stay out of this. You have no positive input for this thread. This thread was created in offtopic, about the Champions league. So guess what we are discussing? The Champions league. You don't like it? Get out.

'He's from Manchester He OBVIOUSLY watched the game"

^ WOW REALLY? So everyone in Manchester watches man united games? really?

And me being a soccer demigod? You said it not me, so please stop. Thanks.

Blow bayern if i could? Yea grow up kid. Get that highschool shit outa here.

God knows what im sayin? Unfortunately for you, others understood exactly what im saying. So if you dont know wat im saying...then you simply 1. didnt watch the game (meaning you have no place in this argument LOL) and 2. you dont understand soccer either LOL

I picked bayern in this match, well mainly because alot of my local friends like ManUntied, so i like fucking with them. So in other words i dont show much favoritism when it came to this match. And im not even the biggest soccer fan, but damn, you two (ak di nishani and raman) are full of yourselves, ure boy rafael didnt own shit, he played like a broke ass gandu cuz he couldnt stay up with ribery. Dont talk, these guys posted the truth, and if you still feel like sir alex is god, check soccernet. P Ami Bolii Jande (for the record, this is not a stab at PANJ, it jus fit the situation). okay first...i was defending my team...there was no reason for you guys to say shit about me
second....ribery didn't get a clear run/cross in the first half while he was up against rafael and sometimes another holding midfielder or valencia...can u blame us for that?...seemed like pretty good tactics to me...although that changed after the sending off when he did start to get hold of the ball and threaten us more...again...that was after the sending off
third...im pretty sure i watched the game...dont think i was playing fifa...yeahh i watched the game for sure
fourth...i didnt make anything up...and i've never been on espn website =S
fifth...i agree about ur comments about the permier league becoming softer in the last 15-20years...thats obvious to see
sixth...im born and raised in the uk...played football my whole life....its the only sport i've ever watched and the only sport i've ever played and manchester united is the only team i've ever supported from day fucking one...haha i've never ever played baseball...seriously i havn't ever played baseball =|
seventh...ur "challenge" towards me....
"Rafael had snuffed out the threat of Ribery in the first half, and was also able to join in United's attacking efforts. "
-BBC SPORT
just came across it...i guess they didnt use the word "owned" though does it still count?
eighth...fergie=GOD...name another manager thats been with a club as long as he has and had the same amount of success as he has...exactlyyy.

what a lovely start to my day...thanks lol
i look forward to clashing with you in future debates...as for this i wish to forget this game...for obvious reasons

"Rafael OWNED Ribery"....these words really seemed to get at you...i hope they haunt you forever haha

Calm down you hooligans.

Seriously.

On another note, Barcelona is a damn good team, but I don't think they are the best in the tournament. Our defense is suspect, especially when we were missing Puyol and Pique. With them back we are stronger, but I'm just hoping El Clasico doesn't mess us up.

that spiel bout rafael was cuz u made it seem like rafael was the one that stopped ribery lol thats y i wrote that. obvi double teaming a good player is standard practice everywhere. theres nothing wrong with that i was just annoyed that u thought rafael was responsible for shuttin him down with fair play. a couple times he did pretty well but most of the time he was unable to keep up with riberys speed and it was annoying seeing a good young prospect revert to blatant fouling. he deserved to get carded. thats all im saying lol

cool? lol and nikhil shaddappppppp ;)
