Let me know what you guys think!

NOTE: I think the mix of Shoulder by Diljit and Dirt Off Your Shoulders (Brillz Trip Remix) was also in some other mix posted here on BTF so I just want to say I didn't steal that mashup haha I had this team mix pretty much done last summer so wanted to avoid the confusion! Props to the other DJ for also making the mashup!

This is actually pretty hot and refreshing. Definitely doesn't sound like the usual mixes which have been dropping (which are all good don't get me wrong) but this has a raw feel to it. One thing I did notice was the tempo drop at 2:36; the audio quality wasn't clean when it dropped. Not sure what DAW you use to mix but if it's ableton I suggest maybe using Complex/Complex Pro as your warping mode, otherwise try changing up your software's general warping algorithm to get the stutters out of there in the drop. Other than that, this was pretty clean besides a few subtle variations in leveling (the bilal sayeed track was slightly softer than the track before it) this is a pretty hot mix man good job!

Thanks for the feedback man! I'll look into the spot you mentioned in the mix and see if I'm able to fix that up to use in future mixes. I use Logic Pro so I'll see what I can do with that. Thanks again! Appreciate it!

Beats over power the song (this is probably subjective). When I mix I make sure the main focus is the song and not the stuff added. Biggest irk was the quality. Each song sounded like it was just ripped from youtube. (aka below 128 kbps).

3:04 loved the concept. Has a lot of potential. The tempo change took away from the flow.
Same with the jugnu segment.

Overall flow was there, but the execution took away from the flow.

Thanks for the feedback man! Been listening to some of your stuff as well and you got some sick mixes!

I see what you mean when the beat overpowers. I guess I took it too far when teams ask for "more bass" or they want it "more remixed." And then I went back and saw that the songs for the most part were high quality, but my EQing may have been a little off, resulting in what you heard.

Yea I didn't like that tempo change much either, but the team wanted it, so couldn't do anything about that. But thanks for the feedback, this really helps going forward.
