sorry, lane kiffin is a joke...he did his thing as a coordinator w usc, but as a head coach he is a liability. pete carroll is leaving usc in an ncaa mess, the same as lane kiffin is leaving tennessee. granted, he does have a beast of a staff, but besides all the mad shit surrounding kiffin, hes just not that good of a head coach. that said, i think the pac-10 is a much better fit for him than the sec. he was gettin on peoples nerves every time he shot his mouth off. i must confess myself disappointed he couldnt stick around longer, i wanted to see tennessee suck for a few more years. usc will be fine, as he knows the program and their recruiting class is pretty good anyways, but they could have done much better. this hire would be laughable without his daddy and ed orgeron

In Kiffin's words, if we didn't do something right at UT, the students wouldn't be reacting like that. He's not bringing his mouth to USC, as he mentioned in his statement that UT needed that buzz around its program. He's recruited some of the players that are currently on the USC roster (including Barkley), so I think he'll have an easy time fitting in. He's gonna be a hit here
