First of all I would like to say that this was a clean and well executed performance/set with few mistakes or mishaps. The yellow completely killed it, the first time I watched it I couldn't keep my eyes off them.
But this was after seeing Nachdi Jawani and SGPD. I have to say that this couldn't have placed over them. This didn't seem to have them "pizazz." (I mean come on, it's Elite 8) I understand how it met all the criteria, have this, have that. To me a winning performance is a good set which stands out and leaves you in awe. SGPD and NJ had stuff what other teams can't do- THEY STOOD OUT. Anyone could have done what VCU did which is meeting exactly the criteria.
And yes I too have noticed that lately clean has been winning competitions, so in that case VCU should have won. I personally totally disagree with that, I'd rather have a good choreographed set.

Just my opinion
And congrats again VCU!

okay i usually don't like to give individual shoutouts b/c in bhangra competitions i believe a team is what wins it and individual success is a consolation compared to a placing or a victory for a TEAM...but HOLYYY SHITTTT the girl who is a bit darker in the yellow has most definitely got to be one of the top female dancers i have ever seen....holyyy crapp she murdered this ENITREEE ROUTINEEE...idk her name or anything but if anyone from vcu reads this - please tell her i tip my hat to her.

don't get me wrong everyone was very good...but she stood out to me and this is one of the few times i felt compelled to give a shoutout like this to an individual in the bhangra circuitt
