Im sure many of you like myself posted some sort of article on facebook about verizon finally setting an official release date. You disappointed the phone is still gonna run on the CDMA system? Your take?

I actually am pretty excited that Verizon is finally carrying the Iphone. I like that it has face-time (the same used on the i touch). I like the fact that you can be Skype-ing with anyone on a computer while you may be running errands or at the office.

Well, it has to run on CDMA, as that is what Verizon's network is. So, no you will not be able to make a phone call and use a data connection at the same time (i.e. those iphone commericals with making a phone call and changing the dinner reservation and emailing everyone all at the same time won't be happening). That being said, I will also warn you that antenna problem is still alive and kicking on the CDMA version, so buy a case. Other than that, have it folks.

well when he asked if we were dissappointed that it was on CDMA im assuming it was directed towards the fact that it is not compatible with LTE. as far as the antenna problems, i know they made some changes to the antennae and how its fixed on the phone aside from the fact that they chagned it from GSM to CDMA so there is actually a good chance that the reception issue is fixed.

still cant do simultaneous voice and data which is important for many people (including myself)

i personally think its retarded to get it because the iphone 5 is due for a summer release and theres no point in locking yourself into contract for it when u can just wait 5 more months and get the latest and greatest

ATT is dropping their hspa + and LTE 4G this summer along with their version of the 5, can't wait for that, I might buy the phone retail price if it doesn't have any bugs since I'm locked into a contract
