Does anyone know when VIBC will be taking place (couldn't find anything mentioning 2009)?

Also, any other competitions in January other than Dhol Di Awaz XI?

i HIGHLY doubt UCD will do a comp this year...as i hear they went into debt last year.
plus normally they usually hold their comp in march/april, besides 2007 (held in july)

i believe vibc will be taking place feb 12-21st...

"Volunteers at the VIBC Celebration from February 12-21st, 2009 will be needed in all areas of the events. The Events will be workshops, presentations and a competition. There will be a need for setup, strike down, ushers, runners, media, performer management, backstage, etc. There is something for everyone! "

It?s that time of year again for some Bhangra, Bhangra, Bhangra! Come celebrate five years of VIBC during the 2009 City of Bhangra Festival!

Can?t wait to register for the Coast Capital Bhangra Competition? Registration opens on November 1st and early registration deadline is November 21st. Registration will offically close on December 5th. Teams will be announced on December 15th.

The Coast Capital Bhangra Competition will be held on February 21st, 2009 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.
