No offense, but I really don't think you should bring this topic up on a result page or even on btf because more than likely it will start more drama/beef. Just a suggestion though!

This competition once again entertaining to watch but TOTAL COMPLETE GARBAGE at the end ( Eh tha sali tuteh farn jogiee ni si competition )

I understand this is a modern bhangra comp. But what is modern bhangra ? It's still bhangra derived from folk bhangra am i not right? Just a different style of doing it. ( dancing off beat is NOT modern bhangra )

Quick Review

Before I make this review I just want to clearify I have no Biast lol. I know I'm going to be not so loved after this one

1. DRP - 16 person set PROPER...... Definetly ripped it up Tie for 3rd Place

2. Bhangra Empire - Whole new team. This team is known for their insane formations. Those insane formations were not there. Did NOT deserve to place.

3. PCBCA - I've seen these guys perfom many times, but this was there best performance EVER. No big mistakes. Shika got cuaght otherwise nothing big. Good mix of modern and folk bhangra .1st Place Standing Ovation (I'm Still Standing)

4. PANJ - These guys brought A their game too. REally clean perfomance. Chandan's jori in the blue guy was sick, Super unreal jhummar, Guriqbal good nakhra, Gurpal ripped it . Once again awesome blend of folk and modern bhangra. 2nd Place

5. Pindu Bhangra - Find A Coach. These guys seemed like they only knew six steps of bhangra. They did jugni/chal 15 times :S. Have some respect for your pagh dont do flips were ur pagh touches the ground and almost comes off. Punjabiyaan di shaan hundi pagri

6. APD - SICK INTRO VIDEO. Team was good at best. One guy was off beat on phumaniyaa. Suggestion dont modify moves if you can't do the orignal move right. One guys farla fell out, this guy tucked in to the back of his pagh looked like he was wearing a koli over his head :S. Once again Punjabiyaan di shaan hundi pagri. CRAZY STUNTS though I felt like i was watching professional acrobats non the less good job boys. Tie for 3rd Place

7. SMD - Yellow jordi good job loved that one girls nakhra . Otherwise these guys weren't even great I understand you want to show that you are in touch with your subiyaachar, but its Vancouver International BHANGRA Competition not Bhangra and gidda. Alot of actions were out of thaal. One girl was walking the whole perfomance :S . Dholi please tell him to find an ustaad and learn how to hold a dugga :S and then after that he can worry about playing on beat. But Good job girls keep it up.

We all kow before we enter into a competition what 'type' of competition it is, and VIBC has always been a 'modern/ creative/gimmicky' type of competition. Yes us 'traditional' teams can complain, BUT we knew what we were getting into. A competition where Empire beat VCU , and Khalsa Junction beat Nachdi Jawani. Getting accepted into VIBC is a great accomplishment for any team, and a team can do nothing but try to follow the judging ruberic, and do the best that they can. Next year we'll learn how to to do a double man stunt lol.

Review (I only saw 3-4 teams)

DRP- they were the first performance of the night. Very clean as usual, and great formations. I liked when the guys and girls wore two completely different colos because the formations were more clear cut then. It was missing the 'x' factor a bit but should have placed in my opinion

PCBCA- they went 8 and kept it folk, super clean like always and had great energy. A shikke broke or got locked I think. Brought out the 'shane little allstars' as a gimmick and we all know that, the crowd loves kids

APD - It was APD doung what they do best, stunts and stunts and more stunts, every single one made me go 'wow', it was the first time I saw them perform in person. A guy fell while he was in the front and another guys turla came off his paag. Veyr energetic performance

Pindu First time I saw them perform, they have a unique modern style, the 'nalka' stunt was cool, and the one at the end was awsome. They need to get new vardiyan, and get all the dancers on the same level

im meantht SMD is maddd gooddd NOW... theryre getting nastier by every performance... i find it kinda funny tht SMD is always getting 2nd place.. why is tht cuz theyre all girls team??
