I'm gonna be straight with my critique, this team had some of the best dancers at Burgh, period. In my opinion I don't think it was a lack of cleanliness that prevented you guys from placing, but the overall flow of the set. I thought the live segment was neat but I didnt think it really fit well into the performance. Its obvious that you're team appreciates the essence of dancing live (I noticed it last year at Blowout as well), but I don't think you should combine the two styles into a "half and half" set.
- I enjoyed the song selection, I think it was on point for the most part.
- as people mentioned earlier, the boli was the best of the night
- intro hit hard, real hard. I remember the feeling of watching it live, the energy you guys displayed off the get go was amazing.
- the sit down at 2:07 kind of ruined the flow of the saap segment for me
- the concept for khunde was sick and original, although I didn't like the way "Dil Lagee" was mixed. a couple of segments were looped way too many times which I think altered the overall impact of the song
- the very ending segment (like last couple counts) was kind of weak
- all your dancers are on the same skill level which is great, your boys ripped and your girls more than kept up which made them look really powerful. only thing Ide say to the girls is to make sure you maintain your saap extension on every move
Overall I'd say thats pretty much it for general critiques (which are all opinionated), Im sure you guys have already picked out small mistakes on form/energy or what not.
I personally loved how traditional/folk this set was, and it a great pleasure talking to you guys on stage after the show. Keep ripping it and forget talks about potential, you guys are already there. Cant wait to compete against you guys again.
