First congrats on placing multiple times!

Pros:
  • Choreo: was fun to watch
  • Song selection
Biggest critique from me are:
  • Why is there such a huge discrepancy between each performance?
  • Everyone seemed like they were just doing their own thing. There really wasnt a sense unity or team in any of the performance. (aka Execution, form, and sync wasnt there)
  • A lot of the formations were too generic, clustered, and seemed off. Remember to take the entire stage. (Example: https://youtu.be/ZiZPc401NX0?t=319 Not sure why you all didnt take up the entire stage for that segment. It was have looked so much hotter and cleaner).
  • The mix 0 justice for the set. Unnecessarily loaded with hats and effects. When i first saw Visra years ago the mix were always folk and it made the set so much better. But lately the mix have been nothing but generic hype/effect loaded mixes.
  • Energy

I always really enjoy Virsa routines. I appreciate the nice twists you guys put on folk bhangra.

Really agree on this one. If you guys become more in sync and dance as a team, you will be deadly. Your sets are great. But they aren't receiving the true justice by you guys not being as in sync as you could be.

Don't really like this critique. I applaud Virsa for doing chaal in a formation that's different than what we normally see. I also don't like the notion that we always have to be using the whole stage. If teams want to tighten up formations to do something different and highlight effects, let them. Not saying we should be tight all the time, but saying that teams should use the whole stage puts a constraint on creativity.

Not saying you're "wrong" as there is really no right or wrong in bhangra. Just my opinion
