FAUJ, an all male team, originates from Boston. With their reputation, most would probably want to join them. Correct me if I'm wrong, but your best choice would be co-ed because I dont think there is an independent co-ed team from the Boston area.

If we took all of the males, wouldn't the best choice be to start an all-female team? haha

Fortunately, we just can't accommodate everyone and we're kinda picky about other things other than dancing ability like personality, strength of jaw line (underbites preferred), height (rather, lack of height lol), #InappropriateUseOfHashtags and bravery. There are still plenty of good dancers in Boston, given the number of colleges, the size of the indian population and the number of experienced dancers coming to Boston for grad school and work. Boston's always been big enough for more than one all-guy team. (ie: SSNY)

Best of luck, Hardeep, with the team!

I don't understand why that should be a matter of consideration.

It's fine if there are multiple all-guys (or all-girls or co-ed) teams in one city, especially one as large and diverse as Boston.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, co-ed please!
NEBC is going to aim to open up to Co-Ed again this year. Right now we are all girls but would love to get a stack of guys to make it interesting

It doesn't matter. Starting a new team is no easy task of course, which is why I was addressing the 'availability' of dancers in that area. As Sue pointed out, the number of dancers in Boston is increasing, but if there aren't enough male dancers for an all guys team, a better option would be to go co-ed.

Was not implying that Hardeep should pick one because there other already exist.
