Another strong week, and although we had a relatively quiet week of mixes, we had a couple of solid challengers.

7. Swizzee challenged 4. NsD. Two sick mixes, but everyone loved the taste of Bojangles' Famous Jalebi, so the win goes to Swi!

5. DJ Preet challenged 2. GSingh. A close battle this time, but DJ 1 takes it 17-11. The winner is DJ Preet!

11. sK challenged 9. Karan Deol. One mix ran long, but garnered plaudits. People thought that DJ 1 should have cut to the chase, since DJ 2 won 17-5. The winner is Karan Deol.

With the shakeup in the ladder, and the new movement among DJs who won challenges by forfeit, we're looking to implement two new rules.

1. We're re-extending the timelines for challenges so all DJs get an extra week. Challenges will still open from now until 11:59PM PST Wednesday, but you will have until October 21 to make your mix.

Mixes are due at 11:59 PM PST on Monday, October 21st.

2. We're bumping all inactive DJs to the bottom of the ladder to free up a little more mobility for the DJs who are actively participating. All DJs who haven't answered a challenge or have forfeited each of the last two weeks will be bumped. As of right now, these DJs are listed below:
AKT
GaganDholi
DJ DhoLa
UrbanKinng (requested to be removed from ladder)

As a result, this week's ladder looks like this:
1. DJ Ra
2. DJ Preet (up from 5)
3. Sangeen
4. Swizzee (up from 7)
5. GSingh (down from 2)
6. DJ Aka$h (up from 8 on forfeit)
7. NsD (down from 4)
8. DJ Jassi (down from 6 on forfeit)
9. Karan Deol (up from 11)
10. DJ Concept
11. sK (down from 9)
12. SSK Productions
13. G-Tam (up from 15 on forfeit)
14. DJ Lakha (up from 17 on forfeit)
15. Prodigy (down from 13 on forfeit)
16. MohanSingh (up from 19 on forfeit)
17. NKrishnan (down from 14 on forfeit)
18. First Class Beats
19. Shreyman (down from 16 on forfeit)
20. Kaurageous
21. Saab
22. JsM (up from 25 on forfeit)
23. MinhasA (forfeited)
24. The Kid S (up from 29 on forfeit)
25. DJ Sargam (up from 28 on forfeit)
26. NiraliS
27. AJ
28. DJ Purp
29. DJ Jusi
30. AKT Productions
31. GaganDholi
32. DJ DhoLa

The Challenge: Make a bhangra remix of your assigned song.

Special Announcement: The TOP 3 mixes for Week 6 will be featured on Trisha Arora's "Bhangra Beats" show which airs on Radio Asia 103.3 FM & 103.9 FM throughout New Jersey & Staten Island, New York.

Hey G-tam, you cannot challenge someone who is already involved in a challenge or has initiated a challenge. It's first come, first serve.

sK already challenged DJ Concept, so both individuals are off the table for challenges. Also, considering the only other person you can challenge is "SSK Productions" and he has initiated his own challenge, you'll have to wait for someone to challenge you.

Sorry, but these guys are too quick on the trigger!

Get those challenges in quickly and accept/decline your challenges so we can get a good number of head to head battles this week! Given the theme, it's gonna be rather interesting. Good luck to all.
