DJ 1 - Wow, the overall mix sounded absolutely terrifying which is in line with the theme for this week. Your mix came straight out of the corner with fists swinging because you used those fearful screams and really engaged the listener as you combined them with the background synthesized intro. Then came the guitars from Manson's song and it was really well put into the mix (timing wise). Your mix didn't leave the listener bored at all, which I really appreciated. There was always something going on and it was executed so well. Even at the end with the heartbeat outro - so clean and an excellent way to end. I would have loved to hear more Punjabi type of stuff in the mix because it sounded like a random mix you would hear from youtube/soundcloud. To make it unique to BTF, it really needed to be given a folk touch.
DJ 2 - Your intro was unique, but I heard a bit of Manson's voice at 0:09 so maybe your cut wasn't done perfectly. I really liked that you at 0:14 you brought in the dhol loop and tried to Punjabi-fyi this song. 0:21-0:41 sounded great, but I wish you would have changed things up a bit more or added in something a little more unique without overpowering the vocals. The voice clip at 0:47 was placed so well - it just fit with the lyrics and continued with the scary theme that you were asked to use. That was an excellent way to end the mix and you used your entire minute of mixing time wisely. Overall, a fantastic job and expected at this high of a level in the mixing ladder.
By the way, excellent song chosen by the mixing mods. Super creepy stuff by Marilyn Manson.
