Im stuck on a few of them, can't seem to decide.

Beats by Dre
Monster Turbines
Sony MDR-XB40EX
Sennheiser CX 400-II

If any of you have any one of these headphones, gimme your take on whats good about them and what they lack. Or if you guys think none of these are worth the buy, and you believe you know of better headphones do tell.

I have had these for 4 years now and they have not dissapointed. Anytime it broke or anything I just sent it in to the company and they sent me a brand new pair. What are you going to listen to with these? If it is an mp3 player or whatever then it honestly does no matter what earphones you get because the fidelity of the audio is crap anyway on mp3 but if you are gonna be listening to cds or lossless music formats then it is definitley worth it and you will hear things in the song that most speakers or earphones won't pick up.

shure is an awesome company (kinda like mercedes:cars as shure:headphones)...but at the same time if your like me and misplace headphones a lot, 179.00 pair of headphones is probably not the way you wanna go...but don't get me wrong those headphones are banging...their one of the best in the market (for in-ear headphones that is)...but i really like the bose ones...their comfy affordable and bass is really good

link is just the example...sure you could find better prices

i too agree with the beats by dre... but, keep in mind any noise canceling headphones will attenuate outside sound... my personal preference however is the "over the ear" version, as they have rather large drivers that push out an astonishing amount of low frequencies...

I would go with the BOSE IE (in-ear) Headphones they go for about $99 and the bass is amazing on thoes. Also the warrenty is pretty sweet.

I have Shure SCL4s, they're great. SCL3s are comparable, I believe they don't have the discrete bass.

honestly, for in-ear headphones, go for something cheap but decent quality. I personally recommend goin for a simple pair of Skullcandy INK'D in-ear headphones. They cost around $15 bucks and have a wider frequency range than most in-ear headphones. Since they are inexpensive, they are much less to worry about and they honestly are very good quality headphones. When you're listening to music with them, you honestly cannot head whats going on around you.

It's only worth it to spend legit money on proper big headphones. Your call though :-D

I have the Westone UM1 in-ear buds and they are amazing. Look up reviews if you don't believe me.

Westone is also a company known to be the "Mercedes" of in-ear headphones. They value customer service greatly and their headphones have a lifetime warranty.. so if anything goes wrong, just send them in. They make VERY high quality products, so one of their headphones going bad is probably a lot more rare than other manufacturers.

By the way, if you're really serious about headphones, check out this forum: http://www.head-fi.org/

They have tons of information and reviews on pretty much every headphone you can think of. That's where I went to a while back when I was looking for some high end headphones (to replace the so shitty stock ipod ones).

Best of luck,

~ Basim :)

I personally have Shure in-ears, they are amazing. In terms of clarity they are amazing, but bass isn't too amazing. In-ear headphones don't do much with bass as they should...over the ear are generally far better if you want that. I've heard some pretty good things on the Dre in-ears..so, test them out. I've also tried the Bose, they aren't as sturdy as they should be.

I've been coo' with my iPod in-ear headphones; they're decent. Don't get Sony; they jus' ruin the low to mid range frequencies.

The biggest problem for me is that my in-ear phones always fall out of my ears when I'm running or working out. Can anyone recommend some great quality in-ears, that will last and not blow out, but still be able to snuggly stay put in my ears during a workout or such?

The SCL4s have more bass than the SCL3s, either a separate driver or I forgot what.

Bose is the joke of the audiophile world, you can probably find a better deal on equal quality pieces.
