that's true, but that doesn't necessarily have to mean that since RPD's dancers are from NA, they DON'T know what folk is, right? because they are probably the most folk team I have ever seen, in my opinion at least.

Acutally both nachde shooken and rooh punjab dee have people from india. Some of Nachde Shooken and rooh punjab dee team's member have danced in india such college as Layallpur Khalsa college, GGN Khalsa College, Sukhchaina Shaib Phaghwara, DAV College Janlandhar and there are soo many other names. Infact Rooh Punjab Dee half Set was made by Layallpur Khalsa College coach and Styll judges didnt find it FOLK

wow if that's the case, than that's absolutely ridiculous! teams are getting jacked like no other these days, that's a shame..

RPD, we know you are folk. We know you got robbed. We realize that the judges used "Aren't folk enough" as an excuse for not placing you higher.

So, can we be done with this thread? Like, we're not defining folk. We're just re-affirming the fact that despite actually being folk, you guys were told that you weren't and that was used to justify a lower placing.

Like Harman pointed out, it's kinda feels like whining now. You guys rock. But move on.

I am not saying RPD does not know what folk is. ..They are my favorite team...They know Folk ....its just that when u have dancers who practice under ustaads from india for years vs. dancers who have not had that luxary...the guys from india gonna look abit more folk...i know rooh punjab di has lots of resources from india available to them...but the majority of roohs dancers have not practiced under ustaads in india for years... But rooh was robbed at pfdf no doubt

It's been like a month after PFDF happened... I think by now they let it go. I don't think Sunny was whining-I think he was simply responding to Roo.

Regardless, it's over. The damage is done-time to move on with our lives.
