A lot of people (Dj's) use 'Acid Pro 7.' Is it really that good? I mean people use Sereto also.

I use Serato for live sets for gigs and love it. For home, recording, or remixing, use other programs such as acid.

I'm not a big fan of Virtual DJ but hey do what works for you. Every DJ has their own preference. But generally, professional DJs use serato, torq by m-audio and Traktor.

You have to separate live mixing i.e. DJing from mixing like remixing or making team mixes.

For the former there are a lot of options both hardware/software/combo like scratch live, midi controllers, ableton

for the latter the common options are acid pro, mixcraft, ableton and even cubase

I've heard about Acid Mix a lot lately. Mind sending me a link in PM where I could download it from?

I use Serato And Virtual dj for live mixing. Logic for prerecorded mix music!
