Gurdas Mann is one of my fave singers of all time and wish that my kids and grand kids would be able to see him perform live but I know that even if he passed away, his huge repertory of music will keep him alive. Someone who would be really missed would be Babbu Mann cuz I think he still has a lot more potential and surprises in store for us.

I think every singer that we lost in the Punjabi Music Industry is considered to be a "great loss." From singers like Dilshad Akhtar, Surjit Bindrakhia, Chamkila, Soni Pabla, Kulwinder Dhillon, Kaka & many more. Its hard to classify one singer to be the greatest loss, considering we're all shocked and hurt in a way whenever someone passes away.

- Just My Opinion.

True...but today it seems like every other person has started to sing so there aren't really that many great singers....true that the guys u mentioned above all had great voices and contributed to Punjabi music but not every singer would be considered a great loss

i think a great loss for india teams would be pappi gill just cus it seems that every team has him singing for them at a comp. but i agree you can't really pin point anyone person for the industry as a whole. now as of nostalgia, i think losing gurdas mann would be a very dark day for our generation and our parents generation.
