standard practice in other circuits (like fusion). adds to the presentation of the performance.

plenty of bhangra teams wear eyeliner (or facepaint :p )

stage lights can sometimes wash out faces, making them look weird. stage makeup adds some fullness to the face, which is why actors on stage wear a bunch of stuff too. makeup can help amplify expressions too, which can help with dancing
