Why does all UK bhangra look and sound like the same?

It always has the same boring as high pitched squeaky sound mixing, every mix sounds the same, performances with no gimmicks at all.
Only positive teams have good form.

gimmicks are a cheap way of getting "creativity" points from clueless judges, while also eliciting a positive response from plebian valeti audiences.

the mixes do suck though, at least UK has redeemed itself by phasing out the englandi style of punjabi music, roach killa needs to lose his voice and jassi sidhu needs to give up singing to drink daru full time and things should start to improve from there.

I don't think having gimmicks in your set is a bad thing, but personal opinion I do think they do add something extra to the set. Also I don't think UK teams got cleaner. They use to be a lot cleaner back in 2014-2015 in my opinion. They did get a bit sloppier since then, but I think the sets are better now. However the mix and choreography do sound the same. I have never been a huge fan of UK mixes because I don't necessarily sense a personality behind the mix. They sound like one continuous track being played. Before anyone jumps to any conclusions and point fingers at me for being a hater, this is just my honest opinion on this subject.

I don't normally ever write anything on here but I wanted to give my opinion, I personally like the uk scene better because the gimmicks in all the U.S. comps get a bit tiring to watch, some gimmicks are cool and click well with the performance but others are excessive.
I like to watch just pure creativity in dance moves and the uk shows that in many performances along with some crazy high energy they give off and I honestly think their mixes are well made; yes, there is a lot of high pitched changes in the songs but normally their mixes flow together and sound good. Just wanted to give my opinion

Gimmicks were just a tiny part of the point im making, but even so you can't say they are bad all together you can see they are bad if they are fudu gimmicks to begin with, or are overused. Compare bruin performances to TBC or any other UK competition, bruin is actually enjoyable to watch with TBC although the bhangra itself if good it gets boring very quickly with the same squeaky shit mixes , nothing surprising that wows the crowd.

TBH, wasn't impressed overall with the some of the videos from TBC. Think some teams overall have improved from a dynamics standpoint, especially as we talk about the highs and lows in sets, and that was reflected somewhat in the placings. However, big thing is that it seems like every UK team was focused on hype/wow/creativity in dancing factors and didn't have the same execution at this time last year. Thought that dancing was more focused on cool ideas and choreography and not necessarily being straight backed in your betkas, lack of slouching, finishing of moves, etc that really showcase strength of dancing.

Moving forward, I think teams need to just be more consistent at progressing and introducing great dancing and dancing ideas while also maintaining a high level of dancing as it relates to execution and form among dancers on a team.
