I’m sorry but I’m going to have to disagree with you there. The people who run this website are not extremists - they are simply presenting facts to everyone & anyone who slightly gives a shit, nowhere on this site does it say that Sikhs are better than any other religion. Their most recent post was about the potential execution of the 17 Sikhs who are imprisoned in UAE, this story was on the news too – does that make every news station who presented that story extremists too?Nikhil said:We all know there is hate in this world. We see it on a daily basis; this includes discrimination to any degree in the spectrum of "dislike/hate." What I'm concerned about though, is that these links are posted up to begin with. Many people have been up in arms about how this website and forum for discussion also is inclusive of controversial topics. This is just as radical to post, if not, even comment about. Sometimes, moderator's cannot take the blame for exposing this kind of stuff to our peers. Sometimes, you have to use common sense, and not post this kind of garbage. It's a blog, about extremist views. Is there a real need to show that off, on a Bhangra forum? I don't think so.
I'm under the assumption that your talking about the 17 Sikhs that are under custody for the killing of one person & injury of three in the scuffle over illegal liquor that happened last year january.Love said:That is so...wow. I can't even imagine the sense of hopelessness they must feel
Of course...what else would I be talking about?ameetkhabra said:I'm under the assumption that your talking about the 17 Sikhs that are under custody for the killing of one person & injury of three in the scuffle over illegal liquor that happened last year january.Love said:That is so...wow. The news is extremely disturbing, they way they have been treated is against Human Rights. They were given an unfair trial, and because our Indian Government are a bunch of idiots - nothing had/has been done. It's extremely heart breaking for me to imagine what they're going through - the UAE government/police has been disrespecting the Sikh faith and culture, which is unbelievale, rude, and inappropriate - we are all humans, we shouldn't be acting like savages. The one thing that makes matters worse is that these 17 Sikhs will be 'hung til death' in about a week. Lucky for us the UK Sikh Community will be protesting the execution tomorrow May 16th from 1pm - 4pm, they also have a petition going around which I would love for anyone who feels as strongly about this execution as I do to sign it - it'll only take 2 mins of your life, and if 2 mins of your life could help save 17 .. . I think its worth taking the time out to do so.

This whole situation is an outrage, and ridiculous. Something defintely needs to be done, and our voices need to be heard!
