i think cuz he lowered his shoulder as he went into the hit, and in open field where both players knowingly went into the hit, it will not be penalized. if say mcgahee caught a pass and got blindsided helmet to helmet, clark would be in deeeeeeeeeeeep shit.

Yeah, TZ is right. Ryan Clark is one hell of a player who follows discipline to a T. He's been doing so well with the Steelers, I wish the Skins didn't cut him years ago. That wasn't a dirty hit, and I HATE the steelers and ravens equally...Clark was attempting to lead with his shoulder not his head, McGahee was trying to change direction in order to absorb the blow, and subsequently made his head more vulnerable at that angle. Clark's head got there a split second before his shoulder because of it.

Willis was released from the hospital today, thank god he is not paralyized.
That was one tough game, i'm surprised the Raven D gave up a lot of points.

what a hit dude..first and foremost he leads with his shoulder..so im pretty sure its a clean despite the helmet to helmet contact..

make no mistake about it...steeler defense will knuckle up....fitz and boldin better be wary before they run any slants towards the middle of the field.

It looked like a clean hit to me, the D player did lean in with the shoulder but he could have leaned more towards Willis chest but its tough to control those kind of things in the heat of the battle. I'd say it was a violent hit but a clean one (if that makes any sense to you).

I've been picking against the Cards and i've been wrong all along....and my 0-2 record this past weekend was tough.
Fitz is a special guy, he's mature, big, strong and has amazing football hands, he is also a team player and runs great routes and he doesnt give up when he is being tackled --- how many guys can give you all that???

Its going to be special to see Fitz against the Steelers D, i have no idea whos going to win that battle and will not guess...i also have no idea at this time who will win the superbowl, you look at recent history and soo many underdog teams have won the superbowl (i.e pats in 2001, ny giants last year, tampabay with gruden).

I'm just upset to see the GREATEST NFL pre-game show end another season. Too bad to see Michael Strahan loose the top dawg tropthy to frank, that was a shocker!! NFL ON FOX IS THE GREATEST!!

Yeah TZ and Nikhil that could be a point noted, but if you look closely he hit his helmet first shoulder later, but I'm pretty sure he didn't mean to. Willis also acknowledged he didn't see the hit coming, thank god he is doing alright.

veryyy hard hit...not dirty though

one thing i feel terrible abt is the injuries that mcgahee has to go through..i mean he had the nastiest knee injury everrr (that i kno of)..i mean this guy had such a bright career for the nfl and then he had that injury in the c-ship game...cud of ruined his career..bills gave him a chance by taking the biggest gamble on him..and hes struggled over his career w/ injuries..when hes healthy he is spectacular though....i always hope for nothing but the best for evry athlete...i hate to see terrible/repeated injuries..yeah evryone gets hurt (especially in football) but i dnt like to see ppl get screwed over this bad n stuff
