Windows Parallel Help

Is anyone running windows parallels on their mac?


I needed some help. I use a seagate external hard drive for all my loops etc. Before everything was working fine the hard drive would show up on the parallel and in acid pro. But now its not showing up on the parallel so i cant load any project into acid or save anything.

I had a pretty similar problem running VMware on my mac just a little bit ago. What seemed to work for me, eventually, was plugging in my external to the other usb ports on my mac, shutting-down/restarting my macbook, and plugging in my external at varying times of VMware startup (i.e. trying to plug it in after the program has booted up vs before).

Restarting the mac itself didnt do the job. But restarting the Windows 10 virtual machine worked! Appreciate it!
