Wooden Style Plastic Saaps

I think they look sick Aalok. As long as the paint doesn't come off when people play them that would be amazing. I have had two orders of shikke from him and I can say that the saaps he has made are really good. They are much lighter than wooden shikke and also are comparable in terms of the size. Great vendor and easy to work with. Got my orders both very quickly.

Thanks Howie! :) Its not paint, it is a Mahogany style material. The color is all the way through the material. it will never change color.

Awesome design. Love the more "wood" looking material you have used Aalok. I'm glad it's not paint, which I was going to mention (as Howie stated) may fade/chip over time.

I am sure there will be plenty of interest for these.

How different is the sound from the wooden sapps? Can you play them and record? I am interested. Thanks

I would be more interested if you had a few options with the color. Mahogany isnt a natural looking saap color and it looks like someone took a tootsie roll and smothered it over the saap. If you want a brown saap, I think it's a step in the right direction, just would need to fine tune the color. Also there is some caking too on a closer view(though obvi this doesn't get caught by the audience).

These look sick! Also recommend Aalok! He did a wonderful job making our plastics saaps earlier last year.
