Worst Thing you've seen from a Bhangra Team?

What's the absolute worst planned or unplanned thing you've seen a team do at a competition?

Unplanned, I have seen paghs kicked, tossed, dropped.

Planned, hmm... I've seen some painful gimmicks lol. Hm Bhangra Blowout "The New 5 K's" although that wasn't a specific team I guess.

i seen teams do hip-hip moves in their routine...that was at bhangra bash this year...but the worst is prolly tossing paggs...such disrespect.

The worst thing I saw from a Bhangra team was 4 years ago at BB 12. This was unplanned, but in an unfortunate sense. I believe it was Hopkins Hareepa...they had a stunt and a girl was at the top of the stunt. Well, she fell, and she broke her leg I believe. She toughed it out on stage, but immediately, EMT's went backstage to the dressing room and carted her away.

well i didnt see it becuz i saw the performance video on google a year or so ago and i forgot what team it was, luckily the quality was shitty but u clearly saw the chaadra move away and people were just like 'OH! SHIT!" and one guy was like "dude hes freeballin that shit!" i was dyin just listening to the vid. there were continuous scattered boo's and 'oh's and then the one guy near the cam who was just laughing ahha

govinds human worm is awesome. another clutch yale maneuver was the blonde chick dressed as a guy when they came to perform at UConn. govind u know which one im talkin about... "SOHniyehhh!' ahahah too funny

one of the worst planned action was that back around 2003-4 a team or two were putting on fake beards to look like sardars.... so ridiculous lol...

I saw this thread and was going to reply with the Hopkins thing, since I was on the team, but I saw it's already been talked about lol. I was right behind her when she fell, it was crazy. She broke both her wrists, her nose I think too, and one or two more bones. I carried her offstage but she was still a soldier about it. She had to miss the rest of the semester of school too, cause she was too injured to walk to calss and stuff.

I know the paagri-thrower. He was in high school when he dhol-ed for MIT during BB 2006. I actually did a few bhangra dances with the kid. Won't name him though, since he's already got enough shit for it.

One thing that should NEVER happen, but happens all the time is guy/girl peacocks. Like using a guy for the base and two girls for the rest. And then they bounce up and down. Seriously, how can you not see how wrong that is? :

When I did all the choreography and stuff for George Mason (Ambron Aayi Jawani, as it was called when I was on the team), I stuck to the rule that no one touches each other except guys. Girls shouldn't get on each other's shoulders, around their waists, and definitely no guys touching girls, no matter what. I did this not only because I didn't want outsiders who watched us perform at the university-wide talent show to get freaked out, but I also knew judges would see these things.

Of course, the girls' captain, who will remain unnamed, did not listen to me and she insisted that girls get on each other to do "stunts". I don't call it a stunt if it's not dangerous. A girl sitting on another girl's shoulders is not a stunt and should never, ever be considered one, nor should it ever be done.

Yeah man, I've known Sunny since my freshman year and we've been doing bhangra together. He's a crazy guy lol. I know he knows a lot of brown people from MD/VA though. I think I have met his cousin Ajay too at his house one time too. Small world, man. How do you know him?
