If you had a choice, would you be interested in purchasing a hard copy of this years Elite 8 show, on either DVD or Blu-Ray?

The disc would include all performances in order, including exhibition teams... I didn't get a direct feed from the mixer, so it's unlikely that any of the MC events will be included.

What do you think would be an appropriate price point for such a disc?

Please give honest opinions, rather than "$5 dollars shipped"

as many bhangra comp dvds I bought they were roughly $15-20 and I think that was including shipping [but I can be wrong]

how about whoever may want one you can make a copy for them by getting the money first? i know some ppl who would absolutely love one copy of the first elite 8 which was full of absolutely ridiculous performances - so maybe take a message frm everyone who wants one and you can make a disc for them but get the money first so they wont back out later on? idk just an idea!

I would love to purchase a DVD for Elite 8 and would be willing to pay $15 to $20 that will include shipping :)

you should definately have exclusive incentives for people to buy this...extra features like 320 kbps versions of all the mixes or somethin (jus an idea tho i dont see a purpose in it...unless someones havin a party and jus wants a row of 8-minute mixes playin thru-out)

or have certain DJs make exclusive mixes for it =X (cough cough)
or jus SOME sort of incentives for people to wanna buy it.

but $20 seems like a reasonable price to buy/ship altogether. $25 for BD.

There's never been a competition like this, who wouldn't wanna buy a DVD?
Truth. I would pay for either Blue Ray or DVD. My family is oblivious to competitive bhangra in its current state and believe that Bollywood and Raas dances are 10x more entertaining. This would be the ONLY way I could show them whats-up and get them to shut-up. lol

Just pointing that out to you - the "No" count in your poll is useless. I'm sure you are more interested in the number of people who would purchase a hard copy rather than the percentage. Even if the majority of BTF says "No, online is fine", you can still get over 100 people to say "Yes" at which point it is profitable and worth the effort to make the hard copies. :)

I wouldn't mind paying anywhere around 30 bucks seeing that I'll probably watch this DVD until its physically unplayable...

I thought Elite 8 owned the videos? or w/e copyright blah blah... what I'm trying to get at issss that all the performers who actually competed/performed in the competition should be given free copies and then you should charge something like $20 for DVD and $25 for Blu-ray for everyone else. Also, you should still post online but leave that option to purchase a hard copy for those of us who are eager to rape the shit out of the dvd blu-ray player and the disc itself by watching
