For clarification, were the nominees made known prior to the meeting in November? My team wasn’t exactly filled with the greatest communicators so it’s possible that they were known.
If they weren’t, as I suggested above, it might be better
I’m sorry, but this doesn’t explicitly address...
True, we played a part in judge selection. Still, IPS may want to re-examine the necessity for media, industry and certainly non-bhangra judges. Another thing could be to inform captains and choreos ahead of time who they're thinking of nominating as judges so that teams can then do their...
The judges were:
"Male Bhangra Judge" - Deepak Drubhra of Jugnu

"Industry Judge" - Sunil Kalyan (musician)
"Celebrity Judge" - Bee2

We were fortunate enough to be given our own room. I'm sorry you had to go through that.
Thanks for looking out for us. Much appreciated. Would we have been allowed to stay in the venue then? Was I given inaccurate information about performers having to leave to venue because of going over capacity? Wouldn't it have been easier/cheaper for us to just stay in our rooms then? Or was...
I can't speak for the other teams (though I've heard that at least a couple had started preparing in the summer), but mine formed in late October and was confirmed as a participant in early November. We took a while to get things running and once they did, the semester break came and many went...
They had the best mix and choreo, hands down. I would have had them just about pipping B'ham if not for one of the lads forgetting to pick up his khunda.
