I'm not sure if this is the most appropriate place to post it, but it's where I see teams posting their season reviews. I've always enjoyed reading season reviews, because they help give insight into teams' big pictures rather than looking at performances in a vacuum. I think there's a lot to...
I had the pleasure of getting to see both of these live. You girls are incredible, and I don't think it can be said enough how important it is for the circuit to have a strong team of women excelling at big competitions. Watching all the kids perform at COB and seeing just as many girls as...
And just as we all suspected, the panel-leading DRP alum stole the win for DRP. Collusion!
I really dislike language like this. Calling placings wrong means that there are objectively correct placings clear for us all to see. If that were the case, we wouldn't even need judges. Getting...
Does anybody have suggestions for programs/apps/materials for learning Punjabi? Resources seem a lot less organized and available than more popular languages such as French, German, Hindi, etc. I have a decent background in Hindi, so I'm guessing much of the grammar is consistent, but I'd...
I danced for MOB at this comp.
I got to the mixer late, so I can't comment about the mixer. When I showed up, there was a cool setup for taking pictures on a manja with some real pind looking props. Pretty neat. We got a large practice space for an hour or so after the mixer in the same...
I don't need to rationalize anything. Bhangra brings me joy, and as long as it doesn't interfere with my career or well-being, there's no reason I shouldn't spend as much time as I do on it. I'm fortunate in that my family is supportive and understanding, but if they weren't, I could care...
We performed with you guys last year at a small competition in Cleveland. You guys took second, but you deserved to win. I'm glad you guys are winning now! You're a great team, and we really appreciated all the tips you gave us.
Congratulations! You guys rock!

DON’T LET PLACINGS GET YOU DOWN, or stunt your appetite for doing bhangra. Remember what the fun part of bhangra is its getting on stage with your friends and killing it and making spectators dancers friends enjoy themselves watching you and respecting your team for having a dope performance...
Very fun mix and routine. I'm always happy to hear Bindrakhia :D.
There were a few dancers who stood out from time to time for almost walking through the moves, but energy was great for the most part. Everything was unique and enjoyable :)!
