You measure the outer wooden shell with masking tape or ruler (not the entire drumhead)
- if the outer rim is 13", get 13.5"
- if the outer rim is 12", get 12.5"
- if the outer rim is 12.5", get 13"
*size of outer wooden shell + 0.5" = size of drumhead*

-look at this video starting at 1:29 :o
Toti song pardesi jana ......
-i think it's called "one and a half x-roped" or "one and a half diamond roped"
-it's 10 lug pothwari dhol with nuts and bolts on tilli side and roped on dagga side
-almost like huge single roping and made's it cross...
Where do I get internal washers and internal nuts for the inside of my bhangra dhol? I have Remo Clear Ambassador on my dhol and some nuts and bolts are slowly pulling off(angling or angled) just a little bit because it's not handling tension very well >:( FML
use tape measure to measure the outer rim of tilli side(not the head, the side of dhol)
-if it's 11.5" - 12", get a 12"
-if it's 12.5" - 13", get a 13"
which head are you using right now? try 'Remo Smooth White Ambassador'
the most brightest and open sounding head made with single layer of 7.5 mil would be 'Remo Clear Diplomat'
off topic: where do I get desi skins from canada? i need 13.2" cuz my 7mm black gbc super deluxe is gonna rip soon {my tilli head is upside down(meaning words are backwards)}
hey guys, so just a quick curious question, how can remo be perfectly fit on tilli side? does it have to be 12.5", 12.7", 12.9", or 13.1" outer rim?(not drumhead ring or lip) ???
@ADholiCalledAli - record and show us your video for your dhol sound samples (dagga & tilli) (if necessary & available) so we can try understand more and help you more(i think)(correct me if i'm wrong)
