We always use BlueCotton, they're really reliable, usually have a 10% discount going, and always assign a personal artwork reviewer to your apparel to make sure it's good before it gets printed
@ManrajBajwa Primarily for getting some disposable income that we can use for competition expenses, but also increasing our reach in the community to get more people to be aware of us/more gig opportunities. In addition, we're trying to develop mutual relationships with other organizations in...
Our team is looking to start requesting sponsorships from local businesses (and probably some bigger businesses eventually), and we were wondering if anyone had any experience doing this with their teams? More specifically, we're trying to figure out what dollar amounts to set the relative...
Spartan Bhangra is selling our old fits (six girls and six boys) for a pretty low price, DM me or email at rxt177@case.edu about prices/shipping if you're interested!
Hey,
Thanks to the Got Bhangra Competition board for an amazing weekend! If you have a video of Spartan Bhangra from GBC, please email it to us at cwru.spartan.bhangra@gmail.com. We'll be posting all our videos the week after Boston (11/19).
Let me know if you have any questions...
For me, practicing this technique helped a lot (ignore the clarinet of course): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-LMiZHWdbU
People have suggested practicing using two straws before practicing on the actual algozey to build/train the muscles necessary to keep enough air pressure flowing during...
Haven't heard anything about TBC yet from any teams and there's nothing on NachdaPunjab, but there's a TBCu on March 20th with only university teams that might be related/run by the same committee?

Definitely agree with everything that's been said already--on Spartan Bhangra we have a relatively large team (~30) with 12 people dancing. Like Howie said, we've also had people move from non-dancing to dancing between competitions and have pulled in guest dancers over our own dancers who don't...
I was there as well and I feel like it's for sure different in-person than in the videos. The dancers were pretty clear except for a couple of teams in which the backdrop happened to be almost the same color as the vardiyan, and the background definitely provides a hype factor for the crowd. The...
We use Bluecotton, they give a 10%-15% discount if you sign up for their newsletter and they're always extremely reliable with apparel/communication/whatnot

Being a young team in the circuit, we would really love to hear your critiques. Please feel free to comment directly on this...
Sick lineup--Nachde Nashville was one of the best competitions we competed at last year, and if we weren't on break that weekend we definitely would have applied again. Looking forward to seeing all the videos, and best of luck to all the competing teams :D
Hey everyone,
Spartan Bhangra is selling a set of 14 old saaps, initially purchased from India and in great shape (only used for a year, well taken care of, no spray paint/excess grease/etc.). Please send me a PM if you want any more information/pictures or are interested in buying them! We'll...
Hey everyone,
My name is Raghav, and I’m one of the captains of Spartan Bhangra, a Cleveland-based co-ed Bhangra team at Case Western Reserve University. We perform very frequently throughout the Northeast Ohio region (e.g. weddings, gigs, melas, teaching Bhangra workshops for the community...
