Depends on the way the vocals are engineered. For choruses segments it might be hard for most modern tracks because they basically just harmonize the vocals, and pan vocals to the sides and leave center for instruments.
If you have Wave installed, used the Center plugin to remove the sides...
Maybe I should just hire my blender in that case.....I've heard better mixes from it while making chutni than what Pabla has released in the past years.
This is not a critique....
Critique:
listing what you used to "eq" "master" doesnt mean shit. What oZone does, you can do with simple EQ, multiband compression, panning, compressors, saturators, etc etc
You need to focus on your volume levels
Main vocals should not be drowned out by back beat...
You must be new to the BTF.... There are a handful of mixers who can actually mix. They spend the time create their sounds, learn the trade, and think outside the box. 90% of the SC mixers are there for attention and money.
False.
A real producer's job to take someones vision (or their own)...
I might be wrong, but I might know who owns those vocals.
About 90% of the Kaka samples in that BTF mixer package are owned by two companies. I'll post it here when I find it again.
