BTF will continue to be archived and hosted here

No one reported you specifically.
Someone could report a track someone else's track. It will get tagged, therefore, removing everyone's tracks that has it. Go read their terms, and copyright terms. You get plenty of warning before they remove you from SC.
There was a big thread about it not to...
Every set that comes from SPD, it's fun to watch but only after muting the audio. I couldnt get past the saap segment with the audio on.
If you want more feedback on what I mean feel free to message me. (For example: 3:32 you guys had the flow, execution and the emotion. But mix took all that...
Adding music might be a bit too complicated to add. They'd (coders and teams captains) will have to add tempo changes for each segment.
From a back end view this would be a night mare since every DAW processes tempos differently. And lets not forget about copyright issues.
What can be done is...
This can easily be done BTF, where it's available to everyone. Have a sub-forum for judges feedback: create thread day after compt is done (either by team captain, organization, or the judges themselves). Keep it open for 2 weeks for captains and dancers to give feedback. After 2 weeks thread...
Dont mean censorship anything, but more of new users can't comment or post for at least a week - 2 weeks after creating an account. Can't post in Main discussion if post count is under 5 posts, etc etc etc.
If admins have the time to create UBJ, they have time to implement simple changes to...
So you're telling me the point of UBJ is to rate judges? Wow, I guess everyone on BTF here is too stupid to do that on their own.
If rating judges was the point don't you think BTF would be the perfect place to do it instead of a third party (As admins/mods and UBJ have stated, UBJ and BTF have...
Why is there no time limit set for new accounts before they post?
Have the admins not learned from the past few years?
There be a couple days - week after creating account before posting. Seriously....90% of BTF this past couple months has been trolls and crap posts.
TL;DR: a great idea for the community but it's not practical as it is now
What exactly does making a compt certified do? If there is controversy over placing is UBJ going step in?
How will UBJ sustain itself? Are compt paying to be certified? If they are, where is the money going?
Without...
I'm going to start post stuff weekly (well I hope weekly) to help out mixers and producers. Specially stuff that has helped in since day 1.
When I first started out mixing, I reached out to tons of mixers and producers when I started out to help me. One of the best advice I got was: If I can...
Problem with just making threads is where to post them?
Main Discussion: It'll just get buried w/ posts of mixes and videos, which will lead admins to believe they are irrelevant posts.
Off Topic: I honestly don't think too any user even bother checking that sub forum out (I might be wrong. I...
As always, handful of vets are against/attacking couple people who want to bring a change.
Here's a simple solution: Why not create a sub-forum (like ones created for mixes, bhangra vids, main discussion...) for punjabi culture? Would it hurt? No. It'll actually help appreciate bhangra as a...
1) Happens A LOT, even winning teams do it. (I have called them out as well)
2) Have heard my own mixes w/in a team mix.
3) Have danced w/ a team who has done this.
Need more reasons?
And could you show me where I stated they stole the mix? or where I implied it?
+1
Bhangra isn't a culture. Bhagnra is a tiny part of the culture.
If you're a captain, you should learn at least a small part of the culture and attempt to pass that on to the dancers.
There was a post (won't say who) that basically said "fuck the culture, just do bhangra. It's just a dance...
For #2 you can use Reddit/Discord to have those kind of discussions.
I like the idea of the podcast, but focusing purely on bhangra will be short lived. There is only so much you can do and bring in.
Maybe try focusing the culture as a whole (all of unified-punjabi culture).
For Example...
Depends on what your media out reach is. (ie- how many followers on social media, how you'll advertise, etc).
An idea would be: Have a business(es) pay for travel costs to a compt. And in the shout out and intro video have their logo prominent. But compt organizations might be against this.
