Ah I see what you mean, yeah I should definitely try increasing the hype on the beat after the buildup. Thanks!

Hey guys, Haven't made a bhangra mix in a while, check this one out. Feedback is appreciated!! https://soundcloud.com/dj-srimix/agiya-gasolina -Sri

I tried the best I could haha, there are no true official instrumentals of clique, and the bhangra song is pitch shifted. The woes of a mashup dj haha

Hey guys, Just completed this unfinished mix I had sitting around for a while. I think you'll really like it. http://soundcloud.com/dj-srimix/punjabi-clique Enjoy! And if you want more, check out the facebook page below. Share with friends!! http://www.facebook.com/DrSrimix -Sri

Thanks so much for the feedback, that was all incredibly useful! I'll get right on it

agreed with the above. I know the feel youre going for with the rap, and there's an audience for that, but I think BTF has a history of disagreeing with rap in bhangra. That being said....maybe release two versions? cuz this remix is deeeefinitely the best ive heard

Thanks guys!! I just need some extra opinions to complete this, any ideas for segments that could use improvement? any parts that seemed boring or etc?

Hey guys, I posted this earlier, thanks for the feedback, this mix has gotten a lot of attention relative to my other mixes. I extended the mix a little, heres the new link: http://soundcloud.com/dj-srimix/glad-you-came-jhoomer-rough (edit: link updated, but mix is the same file) Please give...

Worth continuing/finishing? Feedback appreciated? http://soundcloud.com/dj-srimix/glad-you-came-jhoomer-rough I'll maybe try wrapping more of the miss pooja in.

Ah excellent, thanks so much!

wooo that came in louder than I expected, but sick grind. I like it.

Wouldn't exactly call this concept the most original, but I haven't made a bhangra mix in quite a while, so thought I'd come back to it. http://soundcloud.com/dj-srimix/ramaal-dmx-concept Feedback please! I feel like I've lost my touch with bhangra remixes (while improving in other types of...

I have a parent at Brown University willing to hire a punjabi band or artist from the New England/etc area for a performance for the university's reunion weekend. Anyone know of artists in the area I can contact? -Sri

Re: UNC Bhangra Elite at Elite 8 Invitational 2012 [Center Balcony HD] Hahaha I realized that it was panga peh giya as soon as I went to sleep cuz I recognized that guys' voice. Dang sorry for the question. Wait, but whats the name of the jhoomer song? That was fantastic. Also, UNC I want yo...

Re: UNC Bhangra Elite at Elite 8 Invitational 2012 [Center Balcony HD] who sings the jugni song/is the song also called jugni? before the dubstep I mean haha (that's dj fresh, sick song)

sweet thanks!

couldn't recommend a better one myself. that mix is so boss

unfortunately, I can't say this one is considerably better. The reason why is because the song you mixed with Balle Balle doesn't add much, and it's also rather quiet. But furthermore, I don't think they're in the same key. Use this...

Thanks for the vid :D Whats the song at 3:31, the one mixed with teriyaki boyz? Also whats the flute song too?

good beat matching. my biggest problem with this mix is one that many people make when they start out: you're trying to mix a major key song (notorious jatt) with a minor key song (black and yellow). If you read up on how minor scales and majors scales operate, the two can never match up...
