Thanks Kartik! I should have listened to the lyrics more carefully; already had it on my PC :P Appreciate the help though.
Still trying to figure out the song from 2:29-3:15? If anyone knows, please do post it up!
Thanks kindly,
~ Basim :)
Anyone know the song from 2:29-3:15?
Also, what's the song from 4:48-5:20 is? That Jhoomar was my absolute SEX btw!
Any help on either of the aforementioned songs would be greatly appreciated!!
"All the way from Boston, AMREEKA!"
Great song selection, unique choreography and well executed...
Thanks for doing all of this legwork on behalf of the Bhangra circuit Swi! It's very much appreciated.
I'm sure Raj and his marketing company want to do a good job. I'm excited to see the response generated by teams for a competition in TX! Let's hope everything checks out and teams feel more...
As others have pointed out, there are a lot of questionable things in this registration packet. For example:
1) How do you FORCE facial hair to be "trimmed and neat?"
2) Obviously the females will be applying makeup "to an extent" before going on stage. Not sure why you need to include that...
Not a fan of this even though I love the original Kinni Soni song (which I realize that I stated on BTF multiple times :P)
My thoughts are in line with Swi's - these songs just don't mesh well together.

Thanks for opening our eyes to this miraculous revelation! We had no idea that bhangra could not be done to "perfection" without a dhol (a bold statement in itself due to music teams relying on the sound from speakers rather than live dhol).
Please continue to share these majestic discoveries...
Try searching bro - your answers are in various topics on BTF: http://bhangrateamsforum.com/discuss/bhangra-mixes-and-music/can-someone-plz-post-the-dbi-dhol/
Bottom Line: Not allowed to be distributed here - contact the guys from DBI with your intentions and they might be nice enough to send...
Wow - absolutely LOVE this mix. Downloaded it the first day, but had forgot to comment here.
Amazing work Rahul! Spanish + Bhangra = hott combo. This mix deserves more praise.
~ Basim :)
Very nice gesture for you to offer Gurman!
Hopefully teams (especially new ones) can use the service you provide. I know it would have helped many teams that I was part of a lot.
Can you provide a website or post a few of your design samples?
All the best,
~ Basim :)
Thanks once again for your prompt followup.
As Harjap pointed out, Bayou Bhangra was the first Houston based competition: http://www.punjabonline.com/servlet/entertain.competition?Action=DisplayCompetition&Param=21
It took place only once in September of 2004.
The Houston Vaisakhi mela has...
Post#2 to give further advice for your TX competition -
Lastly, I really hope you stay FAR AWAY from associating your competition with the following people:
Rupinder Sandhu (who did not give teams their prize money after the "Texas Showdown" competition in 2009)
Anil Prasad (who last had...
Post#1 to discuss a few competition related issues -
+1 to what voxanimus stated. Also, using proper grammar and sentence structure will do a lot for maintaining a professional outlook for your competition. To start, try separating your thoughts/points into separate paragraphs.
But just to...
Sounds like a great idea if you can really keep it UPDATED - which will be the key to your success/failure. The CTL should get you on the right track to start with.
Thanks for your followup!
