Verrrryyy nice Neet! The EQing is really spot on. Great job overall in adding the various effects & mastering the track. Oh how you love that Blutterfly tune! ;) ~ Basim :)

Michigan Bhangra doin' work recently! Glad they placed here; definitely well deserved. Side note: University of Maryland EntouRAAS got 1st on the Raas side and Texas A&M Wreckin' Raas got 2nd if anyone cares. Major props on organizing another successful competition in TX Sidra! ~ Basim :)

FOR THE SAKE OF HUMANITY, CAN WE GET A LIVE STEAM PLEASE?? ~ Basim :) P.S. - Big ups to my buddy Prince for the amazing "Pata Chalgeya" Dhol mix. By far my favorite mix out there of this song.

Man, I was really looking forward to calling out to some goats.. you know, doing that "bakre balaunde" ;) ~ Basim :)

Awesome "Journey of Jeremy Lin" graphic: http://infographicworld.com/linfographic-the-journey-of-jeremy-lin/ Enjoy! ~ Basim :)

+1 - This campy guy sure knows what he's talking about ;) Very sorry to read about all you faced Remy, especially when you didn't deserve it at all. Good luck at Jashan Remy bhai.. very excited to see what you guys bring! I hope you will bring it hard because this lineup is intense. Can't...

I agree with Harman about how the NSM^2 response only makes them look worse. This will be my LAST post regarding this matter, but I wanted to stress a few things. NSM^2: Besides your lack of ability to formulate an easy to read response, why have you not addressed the JUDGES? They clearly...

Don't forget wayyyyy more turnovers as well ;) Hope he can improve this as he gets more NBA experience. The big question is when will Lin's stardom fade? Possibly once Melo and Davis get back? I am seriously doubting he can keep these numbers up. ~ Basim :)

THANK YOU RPVD!! More competitions should take a stand and do the same thing (even though "lifetime" ban is a wee bit extreme)! Be sure to get a list of the NSM^2 members that were involved so they can't just form a new team under a different name! I hope this deserves a lesson to these...

LMAO! Awesome video! Nicely made and edited. Thanks for sharing, ~ Basim :)

RanglaPunjab, it seems you need to learn to organize a Bhangra competition in much better manner. If you don't have the experience/knowledge to determine and stay on top all of the details, then reach out to other successful competitions to see how they handle it all OR just stop hosting your...

Much respect to Kiran & Mandeep for posting factual accounts from the judges perspective. Wish you guys could stay more active with the circuit to keep an eye out for these flawed competitions and provide your feedback BEFORE teams apply. Competitions to avoid: Rangla Punjab (Reason: 2 years...

^^ Agreed. Imagine if this year Elite 8 decided to announce teams using their typical videos of "Representing XXXXX (region)" and then drew the red line from the team's home city to Washington D.C. There would be A LOT of little red lines if you know that I mean. ~ Basim :) P.S. -...

Very clean and awesome performance overall guys! It was a treat to watch.. even on video (thanks to Harjot for the 1080p HD quality). Definitely deserved to place 1st. Keep it up guys, ~ Basim :)

The UBC Girlz, along with some girls on other co-ed squads back in the day, fought similar battles with competitions/judges/old mentality folks/the Punjabonline (POL) community/etc. just for females to be represented as equals on the Bhangra stage as their male counterparts. Ladies, please...

Wow, wayyyy old! Jasraj, come out from under that rock sometimes man :P Also, how fake can you get? You can easily tell this whole thing was set up. ~ Basim :)

^^ I think this is what Swi was trying to go for. Not sure why NYPD was included in his initial "Champions" section. Nice code at the bottom there Kinnizzzllee. ~ Basim :)

Sickkk! I love the original song and this is an interesting twist from the male perspective. Thanks for sharing Hardeep, ~ Basim :)

Why do they have a problem with it? You need to be more specific... Do they hate you dancing in general? Are your grades in school falling? Do they not want you to associate with certain people? Do they want you to commit your time towards something else? You gotta be on top of your game &...

^^ agreed. As soon as I saw that commercial at halftime, I knew it was going to be my favorite. ~ Basim :)
