What's with people on BTF thinking the bhangra circuit revolves around the east coast collegiate scene? Was the entire 16-17 season big 10 and blowout for y'all? Hilarious.
Best Coed Team: 1. UOB 2. BFD 3. Bulldog
Best guys Team: No one dominated, but to pick one KPGD is the only reasonable answer
Best All Girls Team: still dcbc
Best US Team: KPGD, first class, NSG in no particular order
Best Canadian Team: SPD
Most Improved Team: Buckeye was the only solid improvement
Most overrated: Cal Bhangra
Best Set: KPGD bruin
Worst judge: Deshmesh (not exactly sure what his resume consists of)
Best judge: Miriam
Best Execution: Folk Loverz
Best Gimmick: shaadi.com (nsg)
Best dancer: jagmeet Saini, Jaggi (waris), Sumeet (KPGD)
Best Asian Dancer: Ace (KPGD)
Best Mix: Temple university (KSM), Furteelay circle city
Best Vardiyan: Furteelay
Worst Vardiyan: UNC
Biggest disappointment: Both MOBs
Side note: someone tell HK to make a new set for Panj. It's been like 5 years now

We change something every Comp as we feel fit also 6-7 placings back to back to back with that set so far , I think I'm keeping it forever. But thanks for the advice :)

Thanks for always watching and keeping up with our sets!! And welcome to BTF, great first post!

Don't really know what we consider a full season but I guess if we run from May 2016-May 2017 we were a 3/4. Only non placing being Bruin 2 weeks ago. But I will take your advice and aim for 4/4 for the 2017/2018 season :)

And me too old is gold!! Someone has to keep the 2009/2010 style going! Those were the days.

We are always open to constructive feedback.

I'm just saying, Panj is like the Alamo of Vancouver...placing with the same set for years now. It works but gets old fast; no one likes watching the same set. HK, venture out, go past your comfort zone. I'm sure your girls can handle it.

We have also competed in California not just Vancouver.

Unfortunately you'll probably have to stop watching, because I don't plan on changing anything :)

There are only 4-5 ppl that Iam concerned about and those are judges.

If you have any ideas for our set because you watch us so often you can Facebook me and I will gladly hear out your suggestions.

Anyways I am done here:) good luck to you and whichever team you dance on:)

What is a Panj?

Can we just take a collective break from bhangra for the 2017-2018 year. Lot of raw emotions running wild. People need a vacation, or in Hardeep's case, a hug.

2017 isn't even over yet. All these opinions can change after just one competition.

Best CoEd Team: UNC, solid changes throughout the year to their set, always rotating jodis around. Dope terrible towels gimmick at burgh.
Best All Guys Team: SPD, in terms of raw dancing and cleanliness. KPGD, in terms of creativity they always show, Bruin creativity was unreal.
Best All Girls Team: Always been a fan of Royal Bhangra Girls
Best US Team: Furteelay/KPGD
Best Canadian Team: can't choose, but teams from toronto are my favorite. SPD, NJ, catch me fangirling them all day.
Best Set: FAUJ @ Big 10/KPGD @ Bruin, creativity level and performance effect was mad hype.
Most Improved Team: Illini Bhangra, shoutout Jazzykirat.
Best Competition to Compete at: Big 10/NDC/Burgh lot of favorites
Most Fun Dancing Experience: Pao Bhangra, highly suggest going
Best Vardiyaan: Furteelay, Buckeye
Best Mix: MOB Sydney @ Bruin/Furteelay @ Circle City/NJ Joshiley @ Circle City
Best Male Dancers: Prabh and Jagmeet Saini, unreeaal dancers, Baldeep G. (NJ), Dhir Patwa (FCB), Arun Singh (Furteelay), Rishaan Sharma (FCB), Sumeet Jindal, Sid Pandit
Best Female Dancers: Deepika (FCB/KPGD/UNC) is ridiculous, Tanya Talwar (CMU), Priyanka Ram (Buckeye)
Where is the circuit going: With teams like SPD coming back and competing in the US, I think we are gonna see a shift back to folk sets, with limited gimmick influence. I feel like teams are gonna start focusing on the dancing aspect of Bhangra, rather than filling sets with gimmicks.
