Ya there's a movie Dostana w/ Abishek Banchan, John Abraham, Priyanka Chopra and others that was filming until about a month ago all around Miami, and Hurricane Bhangra is going to be featured a song. Got paid an absurd amount to do it too.

yeah, im glad so many people find that amusing. You know, you would think if one respected a pugh, and its meaning, that this wouldnt be so amusing. Its sad you know. People treat a pugh like its an accessory, and those people, i would say be a lot of the bhangra community.
People die for the meaning of the pugh. I am glad people are willing to tie one onto to someone who promotes drug use, and his language is songs etc.. .REALLY REALLY shows how much you guys respect a pugh and what it means.
I dont know whats more sad, that you have people in that photo with other bhangra accessories like kara's on, and smiling while someone blatently disrespects a pugh, or that people found that "awesome" and amusing.
To show you the meaning of a pugh, when the british solidiers use to beat and abuse sikh solidiers, the solidiers would sing this famous punjabi song:
Pughri Sambhal Jatta, Pughri Sambhal Oye
Loot Gya Maal Tera, Loot Gya Maal Oye
Arise and Take care of your turban, arise and take care.
Your dignity is being take away from you, it is being stolen
Its horrible and so saddening to see how kids in the bhangra community are taking care of our diginity. You think that people never used to let the pugh hit the ground, and would hold on to it as they were beaten, and then to see this picture. Its horrible.
Dont want to be critical, but when you see things like that, and then others screaming YAY, AWESOME, how is one not supposed to feel that the bhangra community has lead to a decrease in values?
