Hey guys

basically I need to create some PDF's and dont really have a way of doing it. I was gonna get Adobe Acrobat (through torrents) but the internet I have at work is capped at a certain bandwith so it wont go fast enough to download anything substantial like that. I'm gonna go home tonight and download Acrobat and bring it on a flash drive or something for the future.. but I need to create a PDF now. Anyone know any other free ways of doing this? Thanks

I use this all the time, its super easy: http://www.doc2pdf.net/

Scroll down, upload your MS Word file and ta da! If you're good with MS Word, you can pretty much stick anything on that document (jpeg, gif, etc) and convert it.

well what im trying to do is this..
i created a form in MS Word (I used _____________________ as like fill in the blanks type thing) and now I wanna make it so when you type it automatically types on the line instead of between... Ex:

_____i dont want this to happen____________

and i also wanna lock the form so you cant edit it... just fill in the blanks

Google CutePDF. You install it as a printer and in Word you just hit PRINT and print to CutePDF instead of your printer. It's free.

im trying to do it from word, but i want the fields to be set to a certain length... each thing i try makes the fill in field grow as you continue typing which i dont want... the format i want is something like this

Term X ___________________________ Term Y _____ Term Z _____

but how word has it is it makes it like this

Term X [__] Term Y [__] Term Z [__]

then each of the blanks get larger until you stop typing... which i dont want..
if you know a better way of doing it let me know

and i been trying to use word 2007

Like Swi said, you can convert a word file into a PDF in MS word 2007 or later.
type what ever you want in MS word >>go to file>>save>> type the name of the file you wanna save as>> in the bottom scroll down menu choose the format you wanna save it as (i.e. docx, doc, PDF etc.)
