WELL DONE US ARMY, YOU KILLED BIN LADEN AND SADAAM HUSSEIN AND ALL IT TOOK WAS;
1.3 TRILLION DOLLARS
9 AND A HALF YEARS
920,000 DEAD IRAQIS AND AFGHANIS
OVER 2 MILLION INJURED IRAQIS AND AFGHANIS
THE DESTRUCTION OF TWO COUNTRIES
THE BREAKING OF THE INTERNATIONAL LAW
**ROUND OF APPLAUSE PLEASE**
How the hell can you sit there and blame the US military for all this. The American Gov't should be given the blame. The guys wearing those camo uniforms are only doing what they are told. I have had friends come back from iraq and afghanistan who are definitely not the same people as when they left. Their friends died in those firefights, this war was waged on by the government, not the Troops. Don't sit there and disrespect individuals who died doing their jobs. You would understand that a bit better if your damn country actually had a military, and you had friends join one of few services. You would know, not to hold soldiers accountable for a government's mistakes. Don't put this on the soldiers.
This was actually for the US government. Ignore the US army party, it should be AMERICAN GOVERNMENT. and our country actually has a military.
I appreciate you clearing that up. And my bad for dissing the canadian military. Honestly, i never knew one existed.
Yea our Military has been in Afghanistan since 2001 and will probably withdrawal a majority of the troops this year.
a decade at war is enough.
Lol not that i'm for all of the post-911 transgressions by our government, but much more came out of all of that spending and all of those deaths than just the death of Osama Bin Laden. Not all of it positive, i agree, but you're belittling and generalizing to an extent to which i can't even begin to describe. And to think it is all one sided?
And i suppose everyone and their moms had 20/20 vision on how the mission to get "terrorism" would be twisted and morphed by hidden agendas and propaganda right?
This is momentous. This is EXTREMELY gratifying. This is important beyond the physical, extending to the mental piece of mind for the thousands affected by this one man's mind and mission. And it is a tremendously important day in U.S. history, the day Osama Bin Laden was killed.
For 24 hours, I'd rather revel in the moment than simply scoff.
