Couple of months old now, thought we'd share it. This was Alamo at Clutch City Bhangra back in July and by far our favorite set and mix and we have so many people to thank for that. Finally went 6/6 Coed after an entire year.

Clutch was amazing once again and congrats to FCB, Rangla Punjab for placing and all the other teams for putting on a great show.

Would love any comments and critiques :)

First off, I think this is one of your most exciting performances. It feels like a different style from your team's usual approach. The intro was very exciting to watch. A lot of teams have been doing a folk intro like that, but the added intricate moves made it more attention grabbing than other teams (+creativity). Nakhra was difficult to see, but there was a moment during shikke were purple jodi looked at each other as they move across stage. That was a nice moment that would boost nakhra and facial points for me (+expressions/nakhra). One distraction was the rumaals. It took away from the cleanliness. By the end of the set, I could see dancers just trying to wave their rumaals instead of doing proper extensions. Pair this with the big phuman, and it just became too much(-snychro). In addition, set flow could have been improved. There is point where you drop at khundey and do that behtke spin with one foot out. Traditionally the spin is slower. Not saying it didn't look good, but I want to have time to absorb these drops. A lot of the drops felt like they came and gone. Last, synchronicity was poor as the set moved on (people missing squats/jumps, arms in different places) (-synchro). This goes along with rummal thing. Overall, my key take-aways are: 1. keep with the style. It's is nice to have different approaches to set creation 2. drop the rumaal/big phuman combo 3. Don't sacrifice synchro for energy filled sets.

Good luck!

deff my favorite set from you guys! It was wild to see live :)
+ luddi segment in the beginning, this really stuck out and I'm glad you guys made the choice to move it to the beginning
+ the vibe you guys brought to this comp was great, I loved the choreo and how different this set is from your past ones
+ dancer rotation and formations were hella smooth

- I agree with sahab on the big phuman +rumaal combo. I think it takes away from cleanliness and with such intricate choreo I don't think both are necessary and it makes it difficult to see what you guys are actually doing
- squats from some of the girls were weak
- segment order (too many drops in a row like sahab was saying), its a lot for the audience to handle at once

Hope to see you guys around soon!
P.S. very happy that the mix played all the way through this time ;)
